I just pre-ordered all three Led Zeppelin Remasters and We Don't Need to Whisper by Angels and Airwaves, and I just got Beacon and Tourist History by Two Door Cinema Club, Spreading Rumours by Grouplove, The Song Remains the Same by Led Zeppelin, the Mark Tom and Travis Show by blink-182, Let it Be and Hard Days Night by the Beatles and Melophobia, Thank You Happy Birthday, and S/T by Cage the Elephant

I don't understand how doing this makes a difference, I saw some of you guys doing this for the S/T release as well, I mean obviously they're looking to make some easy cash, so why would the offers do anything, wouldn't they just ignore it?

Ordered I with the bonus live disc and the single disc versions of II and III. 

At least it's not on 4/20 this year.  Now I can remember what's going on.

Helped as in significantly but I wouldn't say it looks brand new. And quite honestly, I'm not sure the weight of the press. I assume it's 180 gram. But don't take my word for it

So I finally got the rest of these cleared so I figured I'd put this all in one thread. I'm pretty excited about all of these, they should be pretty cool. These will all be available in select Hot Topic stores and on www.hottopic.com. These street dates are all tenative. I'll update this thread as we get closer to each release and let you know if anything has changed. Don't ask about Dogs Eating Dogs, I have no idea if or when that will ever get pressed.
 
 
Take Off Your Pants and Jacket LP - Not too long ago Hot Topic had an exclusive pressing of TOYPAJ LP on clear vinyl with red, green and yellow splatter limited to 2000 copies. This sold out quite a while ago online but there's still some copies floating around Hot Topic stores.
 
Self-Titled 2xLP  - (there's already a thread for this one on here) clear vinyl with pink and green splatter with the smiley face logo etched on the D-side limited to 2000 copies. This one has been bumped back a couple weeks and should now be available around early December.Right now it's looking like a 12/24 street date.

I'm currently looking for the Danny Elfman Nightmare Before Christmas 2x Picture LP 2003 and 2006. They're so hard to find under $100 per pair.

I actually went to see the mural from the music video with my best friend yesterday. It was so cool to see in person.

So here is my white whale with it's brothers. Enter Shikari's A Flash Flood of Colour on opaque blue.
Not as much a white whale as some of yours may be, but it was such a hassle to find.
Let's equate it to finding a particular tree in the woods.
I have been searching for this record for two years, since the release date of this album at least.
Enter Shikari had announced prior to this album that they had signed to Hopeless in the US for distribution after bad luck with at least two previous labels and eventually pre-orders for this album went up later. All pre-order variants were blue, and most fans on the official website presumed they would be the same. Come the day a lot of us received it and were talking about it and we eventually discovered that the US record and "rest of world" were two different colors. I was already interested in snagging a "rest of world" variant for the sheer fact that it was likely to have a different center label and sleeve than US. it being released through PIAS and thus not gonna have Hopeless on it.
I didn't search as much as I should have back then as tracking one down just meant finding someone who tried to flip it but failed and picking it up cheap as long as the seller was based in a foreign country, but ES eventually released a white one, then a red (oops turned out pink) one and everyone on selling sites were just selling sealed copies.
Unwilling to open and check the color for me they ended up as a bust.
Eventually browsing through discogs I found an open copy that was blue. Asked if it was not the Hopeless variant and boom, picked up.
So I'm really happy right now.

All studio albums with all existing variants.
I have all Shikari records minus three. Three of the individually  signed and handpainted sleeved live LPs.
Might be easier to find, or harder. Not sure yet. Probably more expensive.
These are the guys that got me to start collecting records.

Mods feel free to move if this in the wrong forum since it's not about a specific release or anything newsworthy. Just asking the question, what is the one record that you want the most but have been unable to find whether it's due to price, hasn't been pressed, or other reasons.
I guess what I'm asking is, what single record would bring you the most personal joy right now.
Or...
What was the one record that you spent forever hunting and eventually found.

That self titled is so pretty... Makes my Hot Topic exclusive look lame :/

I am sure they have had some deals like that - but of course never when I set out to buy something specific, with my luck.  But yeah it is crazy, this last round of releases I just purchased them from people on the board because it makes more sense. I am hoping that Hot Topic will eventually improve their shipping system to Canada because they would probably have way more international buyers! 

I could be wrong about this, but not all hot topics sell vinyl or get exclusives in stock. And then there are people like me who live in Canada and don't have any access to HT stores or feel like spending $40 for shipping from their website. The closest store to my province never has any stock of pretty much anything
