  1. haha i wish! i'd been looking for that thing for years. i've even gotten in touch with a few of the former members of slapstick and THEY don't even have them anymore (i'm talking as even part of their own personal collections, let alone for sale). i'm trying to do some sleuthing and figure out how many copies were originally made. no luck yet, though.
  2. so the past month has been just an absolute whirlwind. knocking stuff off this list left and right, and i haven't even really been actively seeking things out. they have found me. the newest addition was this bad boy: Slapstick - Demo Tape #2 i had never even so much as seen a picture of it before, let alone held one in my hands. the track listing is: my way ... the punx ... the geek ... alternative radio ... i hate girls let's keep this incredibly lucky streak going strong, what do you say?
  3. this is amazing. any idea on the actual date of the show?
  4. my buddy used a place called PODS (http://www.pods.com/default.aspx) when he moved from atlanta to chicago this past year. couldn't have gone smoother for him, and he didn't seem too upset about pricing. check them out maybe? seems like a similar option to U-Haul. maybe one is cheaper?
  5. sorry i just saw this now, dude, but i wouldn't be able to make an offer right now anyway. i just knocked off a MAJOR want: the dan andriano GPC signature bass, limited to 25. i never thought i'd own one, but things fell into place this past weekend. so stoked. if anybody else has one out there, which number do you have? i picked up #20. i added the matt skiba GPC signature guitar to the original post. those are limited to 100. again, if you have one, post your number here (and of course, if you're willing to part with it, let's keep in touch for when i have enough money)
  6. if that's the name of the podcast, then everybody's last words for their own version should be "for the record, this has been (your name here)." that would be a neat little way to create some uniformity throughout the series.
  7. tom is one of my best friends, and i'm incredibly happy and proud to be putting out some of his music. "Okay, Awesome." (one of the songs on AIR-002) may be my favorite song he's ever written, and considering i've been listening to his songs for almost 5 years now, and he's been putting out music for more than 7, i think that's a decently big statement. we would all really appreciate it if you could help out with a show, or with some contact info of somebody who can. if you want to pick up the split, please do so when they come through town! or feel free to check out www.artisticintegrityrecords.com to stay updated with all of my releases. lots of big things coming in the next 3 months...
  8. on the final version all of the prices should be in order like they are in the real monopoly. but this is pretty fantastic.
  9. i would have bought both of these things, but you're not 100% sure where you got the koozie from (even though your guess was right, you weren't sure about it, and that REALLY bothers me). fuck you, and fuck your hockey team. am i doing it right?
  10. 1. you have to upload the picture to a different place online first (like flickr, facebook, etc.), then grab the photo's url. when you have that, put it inside these little guys [ img ] AHHHHHHPUTITINSIDEME [ / img ] but without all those spaces. boom. picture posted. 2. i'm assuming you mean the strike through like this? same type of thing as the image code, except: [ s ] YOUWILLHAVEALINETHROUGHYOU [ / s ] but again, without all the spaces.
  11. the jawbreaker old glory demo 7" is what i picked up tonight, but i also had grabbed a few other things in the past couple months i realized i had never crossed off the list. get up kids on the wire, a couple VMLive 7"s, and some Ergs stuff
  12. i've recently been lucky enough to cross off a couple things from this list. let's see if we can cross off some more!
  13. oof. my package arrived today and every record (i ordered 6 albums, but 2 of those were 2xLPs) came fucked. still playable but majorly damaged jackets and everything else. bummed, but at least i can still listen to the records.
  14. if i were the cop, i definitely would have chimed in at SOME point. i mean, come on. the dude sings the whole song. give him something to be able to tell his friends about and remember for the rest of his life. reward dedication.
  15. it's an acoustic set from Milk Magazine's "A Very Milky Christmas" show on December 21, 2001 at the Miramar Theatre in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. www.artisticintegrityrecords.com has all of the other pertinent info!
  16. i once cut down the largest tree in the forest with a herring.
  17. if you wouldn't even take 5 minutes to listen to this when you thought it actually did exist, why have you been waiting years for them to do something?
  18. shouldn't need to tell any of you this because he's mentioned in here every 8 posts, but somethingvinyl was an absolute pleasure to deal with. i'm S'ing his V so good right now. and by S'ing his V, i mean spinning his vinyl.
  19. straight from the horse's mouth: "yeah, we have them in white, but have to sell through the red first. i have a stack of the white ones in my apartment, but i only sell them at shows and only when i'm out of black/red ones."
  20. i wish this were 7 posts from now so scott could see it.
