  1. somebody's gotta change the date, though. that coupon expires 4/5/10
  2. ^^ it is. my boss had it last season and all we would do all day is talk about our fantasy teams. i think there's an option where it will take you to a live video feed of your fantasy players as they have their at bats.
  3. the post office nearest my house is seriously one of the worst post offices i've ever been to. there is ONE lady who works there who is any good, and every time i go there when she's working i will literally let people go in front of me to assure that i get her. i tell her every time i'm there how great she is at her job and how much i appreciate it. but since all of the records i send out are pre-paid through paypal, i just drop them off at the counter and whatever happens happens. there have been instances where i've dropped off 20 records on a monday, and gone back to drop off another 10 on friday, and the original 20 were still sitting in the same exact place, untouched. it sucks, but what can you do?
  4. not sure what the problem is, thomas. your ordered your record on Feb 9, it shipped out Feb 11. you e-mailed me asking if it had shipped on Feb 20, to which i responded that it had. as larry47591 can attest, sometimes things just take a while. his record was just chillin in Iowa for like 3 weeks before he got it. i'll take care of you, though. thanks for your patience.
  5. this is a GREAT find at any price. for $4 you got a fucking steal. flowers is/was Dan Andriano's very first band when he was like 14 years old. his brother was in it, along with a couple of their high school friends. slugbug (if i'm not mistaken) is/was Chris McCaughan's first band. groovy love vibes were a local band who also appeared on a split 7" with the smoking popes. tommyrot, as you mentioned, also appeared on a split 7" with slapstick. i've only ever seen 2 other copies of this record (both of them reside in my collection), and both of them are also on yellow vinyl. fool's gold = "gold" vinyl, i'm guessing is what they were going with there. no word on pressing info, but i'd guess 500 at the absolute most. 250 is a more realistic guess, but i wouldn't be shocked if there were only 100 originally. i just left the pressing info blank on my own list. i'll try to get in touch with somebody who might know the pressing info of the slapstick/tommyrot split and get back to you if he knows. i would imagine they were pressed in the same amount as this record, considering they were done so closely together and by the same label. either way, great find, dude.
  6. what pressing? how much are you looking to spend? PM me an offer if you'd like.
  7. me either. originally they wanted 3 songs on their side, so they recorded 3 when they went into the studio. due to time constraints with vinyl, though, only 2 fit. so the third will go in the download code. we're also gonna do something fun where each band does a cover of one of the songs on the other side. there's gonna be some acoustic jams, and possibly some full live sets in the download code as well. having absolutely stacked download codes is something i'm going to try to do with all of my label's releases. hey, that'd be swell. thanks dude
  8. hey dudes and dudettes, i know that not all of you venture to the vinyl section of this message board, so i figured i'd post a thread in this section, too. i started a record label called Artistic Integrity Records, and my first release (which came out January 1) was the Mike Felumlee/Dan Andriano split. you can read more about it in the thread i made: http://vinylcollective.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=69749&start=0 i've got 2 more releases solidified and ready to roll out in the next few months. AIR-002 is a split 7" between The Ambulance Review from fredericksburg, virginia, and Devon Kay & The Solutions from chicago, illinois. each band will have 2 songs on the record, and a bunch more great stuff in the download. the release date was originally set for 4/4, but there were a few delays and now it's going to be released May 5. AIR-003 is going to be a full length from chicago's An Aesthetic Anaesthetic, a post-rock/mathy/instrumental band who has been compared to Pelican and Battles. the release date for that is going to be July 7. all three of the bands on the upcoming releases are great, in my opinion, even though they have 3 very different sounds. you can fart around on my website to find links to their specific websites/bandcamps to listen to their music for free and get a feel for what they sound like. www.artisticintegrityrecords.com if you guys want to stay updated on things that are happening, i try to make a post on the website every couple weeks, and i try to do the same with the facebook page. i promise, i don't post HEY CHECK OUT THE ALBUM!!!1! every 20 minutes and fuck up your news feed. give us a "Like" if you wanna help me out www.facebook.com/artisticintegrityrecords if you have a distro and want some copies of my releases, or if you want your local record store to carry them, let's get in touch! [email protected] is my e-mail address. if you have any questions about anything, feel free to ask them here or shoot me a message. thanks everybody
  9. thanks, scott. the bonus material was a lot of fun to put together. hopefully you (and everybody else who downloads it) enjoy it!
  10. tons more records went out this past saturday! thanks everybody who has ordered so far. if you havent yet, what the hell have you been waiting for? ;-)
  11. hey dudes and dudettes, if youre sleeping on picking up a blue copy of this, dont sleep too long. theyre gonna be gone before you know it. grab the bundle and save a couple bucks, too. like people have mentioned, ive been matching numbers for those who have bought one of each.
  12. ^^ how dare you bring logic, reason, and historical context into this argument?!
  13. these are constantly on eBay. how much are you looking to drop for one?
  14. it doesn't help that he has Juan on his side, locking threads/deleting posts that call this dude out. threads should never be locked. if something is no longer relevant, it will fall into obscurity on its own. if something has been resolved, people will stop posting in the thread on their own and it will drop down from the top pages. but clearly NOTHING has been resolved, and there are still tons of people who are without money/records/answers. but hey, at least he got 158 Likes on facebook!!
  15. all of the international orders have been shipped out and you have each been refunded accordingly. thanks again for all of your support everybody. please tell a friend also, if you get a record and write a review about it, or ever write something about the label in general or another future release of mine, shoot me a link and i'll more than likely throw it up on my site in the Press section. http://artisticintegrityrecords.com/press.cfm if you ever want to do an interview with me or a podcast or something along those lines, i'm totally down for that, too. just get in touch and we'll set something up!
  16. everybody who has placed an order, you either already have your record in hand, or it went out today. that includes you, nic. international peeps, ill be refunding the difference in shipping for your orders later tonight.
  17. i actually did talk to asian man about getting a few copies in their distro, but they weren't into it. i'm not really looking to trade these since i have to keep financials in such strict order, and trading only muddies the water. i've got most asian man releases that i'm looking for anyway.
  18. An Aesthetic Anaesthetic http://anaestheticanaesthetic.bandcamp.com/ they're from chicago, and are going into the studio in April to record their next full length with Sanford Parker (who produced Pelican's debut, and tons of other great things since). super fun to watch live. oh, and i'm releasing the previously mentioned full length on my label in July.
  19. okay, first of all, thank you so much everybody for all the orders and all the support. it's been quite a crazy past 2 weeks in terms of sales, and i'm really excited about the response everybody has had so far. second of all, i have to apologize for my lack of communication this past week. 5 days ago, my computer completely crashed. i lost everything pretty much, including spreadsheets detailing who had paid, whose records i had shipped, etc... couple that with a 6-inch snow storm, having to go to shows, working 3 jobs, and my grandma going to the emergency room and almost dying because their caregiver accidentally switched my grandma and grandpa's pills, it's been a pretty crazy week. over the past 24 hours, i've gone through my paypal records and email accounts trying to recreate everything and get back on track. i think i'm back to where i was before everything happened, and within the next day or two, i plan on having every international order shipped out. all US orders that had been made before the 14th shipped out either that date or before it. every order since then, again, i'm trying to have shipped out by tomorrow. on a similar note, does anybody know what it means when your computer does this: it can't be good, right? right now i'm at my parents' house because i knew i needed to let you guys know what has been going on, and keep everybody in the loop. i'm trying to get my old computer fixed and back to normal, but it's proving to be much more difficult than anything i know how to deal with. cross your fingers for me. these are now available at Interpunk, ShopRadioCast, and Banquet (UK), but they only have black copies, and all of them are selling them for more than my site. of course, if you're overseas, Banquet may save you on some shipping costs, though. okay, on to some of the questions/comments raised in the thread so far: this is super odd. is anybody else having this problem at all?? this is the only instance i've heard of anybody having an issue with it. in fact, everything i've heard so far from everybody has been super positive, and that their copies sound amazing. if the problem persists, let me know. hopefully, though, it was just a weird thing happening with your turntable. yes he did, and yes they do. grant did an absolutely incredible job on these. a ton of hard work went into them, and i'm so proud to have been able to work with him on this project. grant and i are going to work together for all of AIR's releases moving forward, as well. unfortunately, all of the tests for AIR-001 are spoken for at this point. if anybody who has claimed one decides they don't want it after all, i'll get in touch with those of you who have expressed interest since. but most of them have already been paid for and sent out to those who weren't getting them for free because they helped with the project. winner.
  20. this guy sounds a lot like brian posehn. not nearly as funny, though.
