  1. i just wish people would give sincere compliments more often. honestly, it almost feels better when somebody comes up to me and tells me they really dig one of the releases i put out than just seeing $5 pop up in my paypal account. i've made a conscious effort this past year to go out of my way to tell people that i appreciate something they did. whether it was them playing a great show, writing a cool song, buying me a drink, or just being a pal. sincerity goes a long way, and not too many people realize that anymore.
  2. your boss fired you via text? ouch. sorry to hear that, dude. good luck on your search!
  3. just a couple more days left before all of these shirts are being donated. pick something up now before it's too late
  4. you're welcome! they're going out tomorrow, along with about 20 other shirts that have been sold so far!
  5. lots sold, but still lots left. if the picture is still up in the album, that means it's still available.
  6. so i'm getting rid of a ton of my old shirts. i either don't fit in them anymore, or don't wear them enough to warrant keeping them anymore. there are lots of band tees, but there's also some polo shirts, some dress shirts, some long-sleeved tees, and other assorted things. FOLLOW THIS LINK! every piece in that album is $6 each. shipping is an additional $6, no matter how much or how little you buy. this sale will only be up for 6 days (so it ends Saturday, February 7). after that, everything that has not yet been sold is being donated to goodwill. if the picture is still up, that means it's still available. i'm not holding anything for you until you get paid in 3 weeks. if you want something, pay for it and then it's yours. i'm posting this a few different places, so the best way to get in touch with me an make sure i see your message is either on facebook or by shooting me an e-mail at [email protected]. there, we can work out payment details, shipping instructions, and/or a time and place to meet up so we can exchange the goods (i'll only meet up if you live in the chicagoland area). happy shopping! don't forget i have a few more places where you can buy some cool shit, too. here are those links: Alkaline Trio records/merch Artistic Integrity Records merch/assorted posters Random instruments for sale

ANYTHING. if you've got stuff, i want it. thanks so much, everybody. -dan p.s. obviously, since this is my wants list, none of these pictures are of records i own. i just stole them all from the internets. so, if i used a picture you took and you want me to take it down, i will. not trying to be a thief, just trying to make things easier for everybody since sometimes seeing the picture jogs their memory that they've got something in their collection.

  12. so far, Artistic Integrity Records has done 3 cassettes out of our 21 total releases. all 3 of which have been released in the last 9 months. if you're interested in streaming/buying anything, head on over to the bandcamp: https://artisticintegrityrecords.bandcamp.com/ here's the basic rundown on the 3 cassette releases, for those of you who are interested: AIR-015 MRAZ VOLTA: TRIP Mraz Volta is a Chicago super group of sorts, made up of members of Dr. Manhattan, Truman & His Trophy, Meat Wave, Everything's Alright, and Sophagus. These 8 tracks were released in April of 2014 and are limited to only 100 copies (50 on clear blue, 50 on white cassettes). AIR-019 NERVOUS PASSENGER: WAY TOO WEIRD Nervous Passenger is another Chicago band. The A-side is the new EP entitled Way Too Weird, 5 songs clocking in at under 15 minutes. the B-side is the first physical release of their 2013 EP entitled Songs About Things And Stuff, 5 more songs clocking in around 13 minutes. This release came out in September of 2014 and is also limited to only 100 copies (50 on black, 50 on red cassettes). AIR-020 HIDE: POSSESSION This tape is one of the favorite things I've released with AIR. it's a 2-song cassingle from Chicago electronica band Hide, entitled Possession. What makes this release so special is that the lead singer in Hide is artist Heather Gabel, of Alkaline Trio fame. Heather had never been in a band before, so to be lucky enough to release the first thing she's ever put out musically was a real thrill for me. This release came out in October of 2014 and is limited to 500 copies (250 on black, 250 on white cassettes).
  13. The Early November - Mother, Mechanic, Path (Splatter 1st press) Cartel - Chroma (Splatter) i'll take both of these. PM'd.
  14. i have a for sale thread started here with lotttsssss of alkaline trio stuff available: http://boards.vinylcollective.com/topic/107670-fs-tons-of-alkaline-triorelated-records-and-merch/
  15. sorry to hear you were ripped off, accousticgoddess. if you're into anything that i've put out so far through Artistic Integrity Records (www.artisticintegrityrecords.bandcamp.com) let me know and i'll send you over a free download code or two so you at least get SOME new music for your trouble.
  16. i'll be happy to send you a free download code, James. just shoot me a message with your e-mail address.
  17. i just went through my excel spreadsheet of every single person who bought a Mike/Dan split directly from me, and nobody with the last name of Jackson ordered from me. only one person named Jeff did, and that was Jeffrey Cheek, who received copy #0025/1000. i noticed you signed one of your posts here as "Jay" so i looked that up, too. only person to match was Jay Holiday, who ordered a blue copy and a black copy, and he received #0051 and #0351/1000, respectively. i did sell hundreds of copies to Interpunk, ShopRadioCast, and gave Dan Andriano 100 copies - 10% of the pressing - to sell, so it's possible you ordered from them and your order wasn't fulfilled. even still, if you send me your mailing address today or tonight, i'll STILL ship you out a free record.
  18. i mean, are you for real dude? i'm upset because i wasn't getting the deal i was looking for? i'm willing to pay a lot more than $400 for one of these guitars, so that's just flat out wrong. you claimed just a minute ago that you were willing to send out the guitar as long as i covered the shipping cost up front. first of all, that isn't true. you can go back and re-read your e-mails since they're now conveniently accessible in this thread. but also, i find it a little coincidental that the dollar amount you were looking for to ship a guitar (which normally costs WAY more than $15, especially if you would have insured it) was the exact dollar amount you spent on the Mike/Dan split. $10 for the record + $5 for shipping = ....... $15. good thing i stole the money of 25+ people and paid for those online detective courses!
  19. since he's trying to refute those claims in the actual thread, i figured i might as well post the proof here now and nip that in the bud.
  20. i'm not sure what "over 25 people" you're referring to that i've ripped off, but if you feel like you were, i'm sorry. i didn't make people pay in advance, actually. i've been adamant in the 3 years that i've run this label to NOT offer any pre-orders. i waited until i had everything in hand, as many people can attest, before i put anything up for sale. i shipped everything personally, so unfortunately there was no way for me to check an individual tracking on one of the literally hundreds of orders i had within the first 4 weeks of it being released. i haven't had any other complaints, and the ones i did get were rectified immediately. if you want me to ship you out a replacement copy, i'm more than happy to do that. even though we're almost 4 years removed from this supposed incident. shoot me a message with your mailing address and i'll send you out a copy tomorrow when i make my post office run.
  21. everybody be careful in dealing with the following user: jeffjacker689 jeffjack689 he sent me an e-mail about the Matt Skiba Signature GPC guitar i posted about, claiming he had one for sale. gave me a price, and told me he wanted me to send him that amount in Amazon gift cards. i told him that i didn't feel comfortable with that since we were dealing with hundreds of dollars, but that i'd have been more than willing to send via paypal. i also requested pictures of the guitar he claimed to have. he claimed he didn't use paypal and refused to provide pictures. "nah, i'm good" was his exact response to that request. i responded with "nice try, slick." to let him know i knew he was trying to scam me, to which he responded "Fuck you . I know who you are don't worry". so a real stand-up gentleman we're dealing with here. and a mastermind of a sleuth to play the "i know who you are" card when 1. i'm a public figure 2. i posted a link to my company's website 3. i posted a link to my personal facebook page 4. i include a business card with my phone number in every record, cd, and cassette i sell either way, just wanted to warn you guys about him before you attempt to deal with him in any capacity.
  22. oh, also! everybody be careful in dealing with the following user: jeffjacker689 jeffjack689 he sent me an e-mail about the Skiba guitar, claiming he had one for sale. gave me a price, and told me he wanted me to send him that amount in Amazon gift cards. i told him that i didn't feel comfortable with that since we were dealing with hundreds of dollars, but that i'd have been more than willing to send via paypal. i also requested pictures of the guitar he claimed to have. he claimed he didn't use paypal and refused to provide pictures.
