This is awesome you're doing this! I keep meaning to check this band out more. 1. This is tough to think of for me. For as many shows as I go to, and as many records as I own, I don't really own that many cool tour variants or anything. A lot of people might think of these two bands as cliched, but I'm pretty happy to own Clear/100 first presses of both Real Friends' Everyone That Dragged You Here and Knuckle Puck's The Weight That You Buried. I somehow managed to click the order button faster than everyone else for Knuckle Puck, and for the Real Friends, I'm proud to have known them before their skyrocket in popularity last year (pop punk hipster right here haha). I saw them at a small venue in the fall of 2012 before they took off, and I became an instant big fan. 2. At this point in time, the most I'd be willing to spend on a record is probably $50 (I'm cheap by VC standards I know). I almost spent this much on a copy of MCR's The Black Parade, but my order ended up getting cancelled because the seller didn't actually have it . 3. One album that I would listen to over and over is Balance and Composure's The Things We Think We're Missing. I fell madly in love with that album last year, and I still am to this day.

I really don't understand how it was up long enough for it to sell out.

Just preordered the "color in color" pressing along with their split with Departures. Am I the only one excited for this?

I really don't understand their thought process for the artwork.

I still have not got this resolved. I finally received a message back from them on Facebook after about a week, sent them an email with pictures for proof, and have yet to hear back. Even if the warped records are not their fault at all, their lack of communication is pretty poor customer service. Add this to the fact they didn't really have any customer service to begin with. No posted number to call or email to contact or anything.

I do realize this. Their packaging, however, wasn't really sufficient for preventing damage.

Why thank you. I don't know why I was immediately insulted for posting about this. In no way am I trying to rip the record label off. I have no idea whose fault the damage is, but I must say, they packaged my two records somewhat poorly. One simple slate of cardboard was the only thing inside the box with them. I'm not made of money like a lot of the collectors seem to be on this site, and when I pay money for a record, I at least expect it to arrive in pretty good shape. The record I received is one of the most warped I've ever seen.

Does anybody happen to know how I can get a hold of Kind Of Like Records? I preordered both this and the fourth press of the Tiny Moving Parts album from them, but when I received them last week they arrived in a completely warped box...let's just say both records have a nice wavy shape. I couldn't find any way to contact them besides messaging them on Facebook, and they still have yet to respond to my message :/ Tiny Moving Parts:

If the records vary in price, splitting up the two orders between highest and lowest means more money saved since the lowest in the order are marked as free!

I had a great time. Bought way too many records. Saw a ton of bands, with the highlight being The Menzingers for me. I was so exhausted by the end of the day, but it was all worth it.
