I think some bands/labels do it for shorter albums, mostly EPs to cut down costs. Each side needs a laquer cut and plating so it cuts the cost in half. Some choose to leave it blank. Victory's first press of Thursday's Five Stories Falling comes to mind, but some choose to put an etching on the opposite side like the newer pressing of said EP. I love when bands/labels do a silkscreen on the blank side with clear vinyl. My copy of None More Black's Loud About Loathing has the same on both sides. Two sides at 45rpm is better, but yeah, $$$.

Since we're talking Interpunk, I'd assume anything good they have would already be added to either their "Interpunk Vault" or "Warehouse Finds" section, meaning this is a mystery bag of "crap we couldn't charge more money for by telling you what it is beforehand."

I think "first world problems" and "check your privilege" are both annoying as shit, in an intellectually bullying, liberal-guilt sort of way.

If a record is released that I want, I'll buy it.
If a record is released that I don't want, I won't buy it.
I don't care about the sticker on it, the branding, if it's for RSD, if it's for Vinyl Friday, or whatever. Everyone is overthinking this.
And who cares if indies aren't part of RSD? Indies seem to hate RSD now anyway. Yeah, your records may be delayed because of it, but if you don't want to participate, no one is forcing you. Put out the records you want and sell them how you want. If you make a good product, the right people will buy it. You want to create valuable customers, not onetime consumers who only buy your release because it has an RSD logo slapped on it.
