  1. Most online retailers (ie. Amazon) are showing September 23.
  2. Got a splatter but some pictures sure as hell would have been nice. I wonder what the green/blood split looks like.
  3. I found this site with some pictures of the variants/packaging http://www.piratespress.com/cms/rotw/ I had assumed that "striped" was a splatter. Didn't know there were this many options. Anyway, this looks awesome.
  4. This is making me care less about the price of the blood filled vinyl because now I feel like I've put in enough effort to justify any cost.
  5. Yeah, Amazon is my Plan B if I can't get the blood filled or if it's more than $35. Though a pic of the splatter variant would be nice to help with the decision making.
  6. Amazon in Canada has Friday the 13th up for preorder now for $26 with a stated release date of September 23 (could be a placeholder date). http://www.amazon.ca/Friday-13th-Vinyl-Harry-Manfredini/dp/B00MP36N4C/ref=sr_1_2?ie=UTF8&qid=1408671656&sr=8-2&keywords=waxwork+records No details on what colour they'll have. It's up on Amazon.com now too. Says it's the Crystal Lake variant (deep murky green). http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00MP36N4C/ref=s9_simh_gw_p15_d0_i1?pf_rd_m=ATVPDKIKX0DER&pf_rd_s=center-2&pf_rd_r=19F2400ZH05TAZMF5F8E&pf_rd_t=101&pf_rd_p=1688200382&pf_rd_i=507846 Pretty tempted to just go ahead and order from Amazon since shipping from Waxwork was $18 last time I ordered from them...
  7. The one from Paper Bag Records is for the song "45/33". The one from Pitchfork is for " Terrified".
  8. Completely agree. I'm liking this new song, though Trainwreck really grew on me.
  9. Some people were asking about that flexi disc in this thread: http://boards.vinylcollective.com/topic/104110-wtb-rural-alberta-advantage-terrified-flexi-7-pitchfork/ Maybe someone there can point you in the right direction? (I'd like to find one too )
  10. I know, right? I feel like she would be really exhausting to be around. Like she's always putting on some act.
  11. From their Twitter feed it looks like Waxwork be pressing the soundtrack for Starry Eyes. Also: http://www.shocktillyoudrop.com/news/363167-waxwork-announces-starry-eyes-soundtrack-vinyl/ Still waiting on some pics of the Friday the 13th variants. One week to go!
  12. Nice! Album is due out on October 14, for those who haven't clicked the link. If you're ordering from their webstore then I highly recommend the Petite Mort 7" for another $5. That song is awesome and I thought the record sold out years ago.
  13. Wow. Really shocking and sad and upsetting. Not to bring the vibe down from the people reminiscing about his great movies, but I really feel bad for the guy's kids. Apparently his last Instagram note was a birthday message for his 25 year old daughter - a picture of him holding her as a baby Couldn't help but think of it as I put my own six month old little guy to bed in his crib tonight. Really really heartbreaking. Also, this: My favourite movie memories are Aladdin and Jumanji.
  14. On one hand, that lilac coloured vinyl looks great and I'd like a copy. On the other hand, do I really need another copy of this album...
  15. Waxwork posted the print that will be included with the Friday the 13th score on their Instagram: Looks cool. I'd like to see some pictures of the vinyl variants before preorders start next week. Also their website is saying there is a "Creeper Edition" of Creepshow coming soon? Anyone know what that's about?
  16. The 407 works on transponders. If you have a transponder in your vehicle, the sensors at the entrance gates pick it up. If you don't have a transponder then the cameras take a picture of your licence place and you have to pay an additional fee (video toll charge). I try to avoid the toll highway so I don't see a lot of bills but I'm surprised the video toll fee wasn't on your bill for km's travelled.
  17. Whoa. If anyone does manage to track these down, I'd be willing to pay for one too.
  18. I get choked up watching The Future is Unwritten (the Joe Strummer biopic) when it gets to the part where Joe dies. His wife telling the story of him mailing out his handpainted Christmas cards and then people receiving them the day he passed. Aw man...
  19. The new song is a little meh but I saw East York and Tricky Woo buttons in the video, so that's something. I will reserve full judgement when I hear another song or two. I think someone said earlier that it was missing the sex and swagger of their early stuff and I totally agree. Side note, I met Jesse Keeler in a dive bar in Toronto in early 2006 just before I moved to the here.
  20. The Deadly Snakes - Real Rock and Roll Tonight / 500, released in 1997. They never seem to be crazy expensive but they don't seem to come up a lot. I have seen a total of three of these for sale in the past 7 or so years I've been looking for it, and something always happens that makes me miss it. Thing's like a damn Carmen Sandiego.
  21. My JP Version B and Coraline showed up in the mail today. Got the Coraline variant!
  22. I played mine twice tonight (once through headphones and once through speakers) to see if it sounded off and mine seems to be OK. The mix does sound a bit different than the old CD copy I have. It seems like the mids are a bit higher or something - the bass guitar sounds fuzzier/dirtier, and it's noticeable on the song "Shine a Light" and in parts of "Goodbye Baby and Amen". But I have no crackling or warbly parts. I ordered through You've Changed as well.
