Solid yellow and white are my least favorite colors for vinyl, so I can't say I'm sad. I can't decide between the blob or the splatter though.

I am so excited for this album. I can't wait to see them when they come to Chicago.

I think Nintendo presented their content (what little and disappointing content they had) nicely. They made some announcements prior to E3 that their digital event was only going to focus on games coming out this year, so it wasn't really surprising that their event was a complete disappointment. Kind of a bummer because I felt like they were just starting to get back on the horse this year, but when it comes time to actually drum up some hype they face-plant and show garbage like that Metroid game. I really enjoyed Sony's presentation though, actually got me really hyped. Kind of glad I have a PS4 now.

This album is sick, but it didn't blow me away. I think I was expecting something a bit more adventurous from Sorority Noise. On the topic of "muh colors" though, the half & half is best. The splatter looks nice, but that half and half matches the album art almost perfectly.

If I had the money I would be all over this. She makes some seriously great music, I'm always a little surprised that she's not way more popular than she is. On a side note, I'm totally expecting her to do a split with Invalids eventually.

It's because BWM seems to just have a flat shipping fee per item, so it adds up quickly if you're ordering multiple items. Unlike most stores that have some system to actually estimate the actual shipping cost. For my order it was $11 shipping for four 7"s. I have noticed that BWM does seems to upgrade the shipping from media mail a lot of the time though, my last few orders have come by two-day priority, first class, or some other faster method.

Not staying around for every band at a show generally seems like a pretty rude thing to do I feel. I had to leave a show mid set of the touring band once and it made me feel like such a shitty person.

Shipping seems a bit expensive for a cassette, but the band is definitely worth checking out if you're into emo/skramz. I love the Rock Band series, and I'm really looking forward to Rock Band 4, but I find the games really hard to play every now and then. I'll sit down and start a song, and halfway through realize that I'd much rather be playing on my actual drums or guitar. I will admit though, there have been a couple of times where I was learning a song on the drums, and I ended up looking at the rock band chart to help figure out a beat or fill because I was too lazy to do something like slow down the track and listen and write it out myself.

Debating on whether I want to get the flag package or not. I already have a You Blew It! and a TWIABP Cat flag on my wall, but there is room for one more.

So apparently there are both black and silver copies of the Tool Part cassette. I don't know what color I have because I haven't gotten it yet, but someone with the other color start regretting their purchase and sell it to me.

Well, I feel disgusted but oddly satisfied with myself. Good job Topshelf, you took all my money. Only one I wanted that I didn't get was New Sentimentality, that skyrocketed so much in the last few seconds.

Steven Buttery (The drummer) put his on discogs today for a whopping $135 if you can afford it. It's his special band copy so it's got an extra color mixed in compared to the normal copies.

Doesn't sound like a guarantee that it's happening, but that's better than nothing!

I'm going to be bidding hard on those Toe test presses. And probably Formlessness.

I didn't personally know anyone at the show who was over 21, and I got some pretty bad social anxiety. I was also with friends who didn't really want to stay around and try to figure something out. They were offering me a free cab ride so I didn't really want to make a fuss. Just glad now that it can't happen to me again haha.

I think blue looks best in my opinion, but that might be because blue is normally my favorite color. The green & yellow or red ones are still nice though, I just don't think they look as good. Honestly, I'm still a little salty that I wasn't able to buy a blue copy or a poster at the show I went to because they went overtime.

IMO each new pressing looks better than the last. They really need to get around to it. I can't imagine there not being enough demand for it. I'm guessing it's because that album is over ten years old now, so it's just kind of fallen through the cracks and is doomed to forever sit on the back burners or something.

This is bad. I'm tempted to bid on those KittyHawk and Intersections test presses.
