If a package is tracked and its marked as delivered, it likely was stolen from your front door/porch. You wouldn't be able to make a claim and you'd be dependent on whether the seller was nice enough to offer some compensation.If a package is sent without tracking and its never confirmed as delivered, you can get your money back via a PayPal claim. Did they provide you with tracking that shows delivery for either package?

I'm a little confused by their "how we wanted to release music" comment. Were they not happy with SubPop or how DC was released? Does that dissatisfaction go for only the release method or the album's content as well? So many important questions.

Maybe they meant that it's not a leftovers LP that only has the element of surprise going for it? I could see the silence about the album being more a result of Sub Pop not wanting to dilute the market for a new Beach House album for a few months than the band trying to be clever and viral.

Dont ship the records inside the printed sleeves. Place them in replacement generic/rice paper/MoFi inner sleeves and store them outside the jacket. Original printed inner sleeves can go inside the jacket. For many, this is a basic part of shipping used records- LP always in a replacement sleeve outside of jacket.

Dust/sand in the sleeve? Rubbed against something in the factory/packing process? Ghosts?!
