Ordered on July 5th... 4 records, nothing special, all of them low inventory at the time, my order still seems to be sitting in purgatory aka 'processing'.. debated on a second order cause I found some things a second time through the list... now I'm not so sure. I remember having to be patient last time, but i didn't think it would take as long again. standing by to stand by...

I haven't been able to spend as much time with this as I have wanted to since I got it on Thursday, but what minimal use I've had, I love it! I'm hearing things in familiar albums I hadn't noticed before. I'll check back in after I've had some more time with it...

to add confusion to the mix, I ordered March 20 and haven't heard anything. gonna shoot them a mail and see if they can give me an estimate. EDIT: Heard back from them. They're currently waiting on a shipment of Green plinths. said mine will be out the door as soon as those show up... or I could switch to a different color. hoping for mine to ship next week.

i read a quote from them somewhere (maybe on their facebook or in an email, can't recall) where they said they have gotten the delivery estimates back on track. I ordered on March 20, estimated shipping has been pushed back a couple times to a now estimated June 09. Every turntable is made to order, as I was tipped off earlier in the thread. honestly, factor 2.5 months turnaround(so August probably isn't out of the question), and you won't be let down with the wait. I considered canceling my order and going a different route, but the overwhelming positive reviews I've read in this thread and elsewhere is what made me decide to be as patient (as possible). Also, like someone else pointed out, it feels good to support the little guy making a quality product...

for those of you that have ordered a custom turntable from U-Turn, how close to the 'week of' was it once you received your table? I emailed to get a status update and see if I was still on target to receive mine based off of the delivery calendar estimate, and I received a very non-committal response explaining that it is merely an estimate and many factors can alter the actual time the table leaves the shop. please note, this isn't a slight on the company at all, I'm simply trying to get a sample of others' experience...

I'm really hoping the demand for this goes down. It was the one thing I really wanted this year. The three stores I went to staggered their opening hours, so I thought I had a great chance... The first store I went to sold the two copies they got in while I was in line (about 20th) The second store, I was the 6th person in. Asked the clerk where it was, he said 'we didn't get it' I look around, don't find anything (strangely found very few RSD releases at this store), a couple days ago, I ask them via twitter if they have a copy or if one showed up. I'm informed it was one of the first things sold that day. by some unfortunate circumstance, I never noticed anyone with a copy... BUT a couple copies were up on eBay the night before with the seller location 'Kansas City' I'm sure this is simply coincidence (/sarcasm) this store's bread and butter is their eBay storefront, not the brick and mortar. third store - I am 4th in line. Go in, ask my friend who works there where it is. he said they didn't get all of their order shipped to them, and it might show up Saturday afternoon or Monday. He said if they keep the order and there's a copy, it's mine. I call him on Tuesday. He informs me that the case did show up, but they refused it and sent it back. the search continues...
