  1. I feel like the reissue of Quality Control came with little fanfare, as well. Hopefully Feedback comes out sooner rather than later(or I stumble on one of the copies mentioned above)... then a NEW album. I think they have some new material recorded.
  2. Thank you so much for posting this! totally flew under my radar. already called my shop to order me one. Stoked!
  3. stumbled on this post to the asbestos records page - little preview of the art https://www.facebook.com/kriss.stress/photos/a.517164661663193.1073741825.262418413804487/950516644994657/?type=3&theater
  4. word, thanks for the heads up - that's what I was hoping for.
  5. did anyone happen to get confirmation if this record is one set from one show or - what was first mentioned - tracks recorded over the course of the tour?
  6. where'd you get that locker style cabinet? I like that a lot!
  7. My wife got her x-files set off Amazon last week - they're pretty rad.
  8. thanks for the kind words! I had been looking into different storage options, then I stumbled across this thread - http://www.audiokarma.org/forums/showthread.php?t=337891 which offered a few different plans for a full size LP bin built out of a single sheet of plywood. I just recently started messing around with woodworking, and wanted to try a smaller version to experiment and see if I could put one together without committing to the cost of the full size one. This one is attempt #2, I took some liberties and added the drawer for storage and the addition on the bottom. Overall, I'm happy with how it turned out. If anyone is interested in the exact dimensions, let me know - I can grab them after work.
  9. I'm guessing 4 comfortably without records... maybe more! oh, not sure - I'll figure that out for ya after work!
  10. Built this 7"/Cat storage a few weeks ago - wanted to try a smaller one before I dove into making the full-size one. really happy with how it turned out and managed to sneak a storage drawer into it.
  11. dang! I thought I was going to be able to skip out on RSD this year - hopefully cost on this is reasonable.
  12. For those interested - New album "Radium Death" out on March 31 - Pre-Order up at Kings Road - http://www.kingsroadmerch.com/anti-records/view/?id=7017&artist=146 I asked them if they expected any bundles, their response was that it was unlikely.
  13. Reviving an old thread to let anyone interested know that The Architects are running a campaign to fund physical copies of episodes 2 ad 3 right now. more information here - http://www.pledgemusic.com/projects/thearchitectskc
  14. Dead to Me - Little Brother (should be good for 4 downloads) http://www.fatwreck.com/digital/url_for_order_item/1421760372 Edit - let folks know you took it
  15. I have all of the albums in question, but the mention of them being 're-recorded' has swayed me into purchasing this. hoping, recording-wise, it's something similar to how Dave Hause handled that 7" series a couple years back. I like the idea of WEW, possibly, giving new life to older tracks.
  16. Surely someone in this thread will appreciate this. The Architects(US version, not the UK version) covering T. Swift.
  17. snagged a Chicago cover after work today. Meant to ask my store to hold the Infinity cover or the complete cover but spaced it. I'll survive. Can't wait to spin it.
  18. US Pre-order through infinite merch. With all of the headaches from the Gaslight pre-order, I'll wait until the local store gets it... stand-alone vinyl and shirt vinyl combos available... http://us.infinitemerch.com/collections/sick-of-it-all
  19. that Smoking Popes 2x 7" for $4 is a steal. solid recording
  20. Ordered the Early Bird edition last night, received shipping confirmation today. anyone ever get Songs about Time? for some reason I skipped that one. is it worth the $60 price tag?
  21. Gus's Fried Chicken is a must (if you aren't a vegetarian) Graceland is really fun and everyone should go given the opportunity. For BBQ, Central Barbecue was really good. Also, around the corner from there is the hotel Martin Luther King Jr. was assassinated at. (I didn't realize that we were going to be passing that, and it was really surreal) Sun Records tour is pretty short, but worth it... about $15 as I recall. don't be afraid to do touristy stuff there!
