Finally listening, some great stuff happening here. Transition on Angels/Your Love is unexpected and deliciously rhythmic. Closest thing I compare this to is Avalanches - Wildflower. It has this 60's vibe that makes me want to hit the pool at a historic Palm Springs hotel.

Boomkat blue arrived in Cali today, only took a week! Nicely wrapped and a few layers of cardboard, only one very minor crease. More turquoise than I expected. Nice and heavy. Sound: Very dynamic, soft parts hide away and then the guitar/chorus leaps out and bites your head off. Boomy bass. Beautiful shimmering treble. I cranked it up because it felt right. Some crackle at the beginning of side B, otherwise quiet.

That stinks. My mailer had a crushed frame, but it was all the overhang cardboard, so the cover/record is ok, other than an inner seam split. The vinyl looks like A+ quality, just something about the grooves and shininess. (Sounded good, too). I've had better luck with those thin envelopes than conventional mailers when dealing with overseas.
