Only listened once while driving. To me, its art first, music second. You can tell she didn't want anything like "1234", this album is for her. Vocals a bit buried. Super strong singing/harmonies, as you'd expect. I liked the album more as it progressed. Man/song and Not Running are my most memorable. It deserves more of my time.

Amazing band. I'm a complete sucker for Wolfgang and always revisit Alphabetical. But, but, the rules!?!? Your favorite band/artist announced a new album? Great! Don't start a "PO SOON" thread unless there's any solid & legit info on a vinyl release. Get hyped about the release on the EE board. Don't clutter the main board yet.

Great list! Possible edit: Don't like it? Don't buy it. Don't cast judgement on those who do. (i.e. We can all waste our money as we see fit) Considerations: Bootlegs, Flippage/Halo.2 behavior/bravado/bragging, and some plea to contribute to the community before asking for something (we all look at post counts...a first post of "hey, can someone buy me ABC from XYZ" isn't a great way to introduce yourself)

Support your local record store, also flippers. Edit: Ashamed to say this is my local shop. They routinely do this. Mainly, with SKM/Koz releases. Also, that "support local store" campaign I've seen on their posts, Amoeba, other sites is really dumb. I mean, if the local store has it, yeah, people will buy from them and not pay flipper prices.

Troll volleyball

Signed white vinyl arrived in Cali today. (Extra signed inner with a sealed record) Kinda sounds same-ish, but I imagine it will expose itself with further listens. Some sounds like TV on the Radio, which I'm good with. Great production. Some new, phenomenal sounds.

Received VIP vinyl today. Showed to wife, she says, "Looks like pink lemonade or cotton candy". I then told her the album title for the first time.

Something must have happened while ripping the MP3s onto the Vinyl-RW. You know what they say, "America: Always one song short of an album"

Very good album, beautiful. I find myself trying to match songs to previous albums, one sounds like Dust, another Rot, etc. Heck, parts of Management of Savagery sounds like a Get Up Kids song (I'll Catch You). I tend to enjoy the space on this album. Portions feel forced, especially some of the falsetto (Fool). I can't stop listening. Vinyl status: Unfulfilled VIP
