  1. ^ Mine arrived a couple of days ago from Bull Moose. It took about a week to arrive I suppose, but I didn't really keep track.
  2. For people interested in buying this album I went to all the websites they listed on their blog and typed in Thrice to see if they sell online and I found copies on vinyl from Streetlight Records Sonic Boom Records Bull Moose Amazon.ca The costs with shipping were all around $25-30. Bull Moose was the cheapest and so I just bought my copy from them. I'm not sure how it will turn out but... http://www.bullmoose.com/rel/v2_viewupc.php?storenr=258&upc=60109106861

  4. Damn the internet and its pressure towards instant gratification!
  5. I'm patiently awaiting mine...I wonder if there's a slow down with the Boiling Over cassettes...
  6. By the way, Trashtalk dude, when you guys played Seattle with Alexisonfire did you know that Gaza played a donation only show like 2 blocks away once your show was over? I totally walked past you guys on the way while you were standing outside and didn't think to say anything...
  7. There's got to be a joke in there somewhere about stumbling home and then stumbling at home
  8. Ordered this. I've been listening to the album via mp3. I'm digging the sound...vocals sound very road worn and as though there is something that needs to be communicated. And I prefer the mix of this over the s/t one too!
  9. I didn't search for the question because I hadn't seen it on here before. Sorry to bum you all out, just ignore it if you don't like reading these threads. If you ignore it then it'll end up disappearing into the millions of other pages that people neglect to search...
  10. So what do people here do when there's little bits of excess vinyl left on the center hole and it doesn't fit properly onto the spindle or the record plays slowly? I get a bit of scouring pad, the little green ones and cut it into a triangle and try to file it down slightly. It works amazingly! But, I am afraid of getting little bits of filed metal dust stuff into the grooves though, so I was wondering if there's things that other people do.
  11. The tracking thing says its in Federal Way! That means it should be in my eager little hands tomorrow!
  12. "Throughout western history the Apocalypse has changed nothing but its guise - from God to Reason to History and then to Nature - all the while holding us rapt with its prophecy of universal devastation" Arthur P. Mendel - Vision and Violence
  13. var ads = new Array("300x250-1.png","300x250-2.png","300x250-3.png"); var num = Math.floor(Math.random()*ads.length); if(Math.floor(Math.random()*2) == 0) { if(Math.floor(Math.random()*2) == 0) document.write('+':305f175l]'); else document.write('+':305f175l]'); } else { document.write(''); }
  14. I too was at the Seattle show, it was pretty kickass!! It was indeed! Did you guys happen to catch Gaza after the show? They played at the Black Lodge. I have never really listened to them that much, they were really fucking good! Oh, and Coalesce totally blew me away! I didn't think that they would be that good!
  15. Haarp/Thou split. That's a 24 page booklet of pictures and some writings stapled to the cover and a screenprinted poster of medieval soldiers of Baton Rouge facing off against New Orleans
  16. When I was 18 I got a decent paying job so I went out and got a phone...all my friends already had one. I came home and my dad's like "well maybe we should get a family plan and your little bro and sis could have one too" So I said sure and that I would pay them for my portion...that was four years ago and I haven't given them a dime! I tried to be responsible, but whatever!
  17. When I was in the UK I saw them with Gold Kids, it was such a great show! Then like 4 days later I flew to Luxembourg and saw them again! They were so good! I describe them as being one of the few truly dangerous bands around...not just for the physicality of the shows, but for how the lyrics are approached and how they relate to the audience. They are definitely not a band for the layman!
  18. Oh yeah, good call. I think i got mixed up with the Trash Talk color I ordered. Dangers is Blue and then Grey... I was wondering about when it would be released too, I'll be moving in about a month...here's to hoping it comes before then...
  19. Oh bummer! I was so looking forward to seeing them! I hope they're okay and are able to come up NW way soon, they had to cancel their last set of dates up here too! This is just icing on the cake of an already shitty day!
  20. These aren't exactly fun roadtrip songs, but still good: Lewd Acts - I Don't Need You Go it Alone - Deserter
  21. Glass War was the first song I listened to from NOFX and remains the only song of theirs I listen to. Heard it on a Warped Tour comp
  22. I've been tossing around the idea of buying this. I don't own it at all and love this album...the pictures pushed me over the edge and I ordered tonight!
