  1. Yup. I prefer Brit Punk and Irish Punk right now, but Ramones and Dead Kennedy's rock. I like the old school stuff. Mostly guys who played the New York scene in the 70s-80s. I have a huge stack of Joan Jett.
  2. Amish country is great for wine and cheese, and hitting up the antique stores. Record shopping is a bit brisk as of late, but Wooster has a great shop.
  3. I make no apologies. I am a mainstream, old school punk fan. I don't care much for Hardcore, though I've been to plenty of shows.
  4. Chamb, I am interested in that Transplants sticker.
  5. I know I'm late to the game, but would love an LTJ one if there's any left.
  6. I think they missed a tremendous opportunity by not calling this "The Shaquel"
  7. As a fan of The Pogues, And Flogging Molly, Mumford is a bit watered down. MacGowan did it best, but I like that Flogging Molly doesn't take itself too seriously. Mumford and Sons did. I think that's the only real fault I had with their music. I don't hate them, I just prefer something a little less high on its own hype.
  8. If he's not aggressive, move him out of the road. People like to deliberately hit turtles for some reason. If he isn't in immediate danger, though, call animal control to handle him.
  9. Call animal control. In my area there is no shortage of ponds to put the guy in, but if there's nothing like that in your area, best to let someone with experience handle it. Alligator Snappers are mean. If it's one of those, and you don't know how to handle it, then it's best not to approach. They're not aggressive in the sense that they'll charge you, but they are territorial, and defensive if threatened.
  10. Please read the post I made two posts ago before getting irate over an opinion that applies only to my personal collecting habits.
  11. I am not passing judgement on those who do, mind you, Just my personal code.
  12. I collect vinyl to listen to, not to preserve as a relic.
  13. I was a huge fan of DC until the reboot, now I'm mostly into Marvel.
  14. I've actually had a few copies pass through my hands. Never really been a big fan of Wolverine, so I'm not as attached to the book.
  15. I'm in the camp who just isn't that into it. Gorgeous release, they really did a nice job with it, but there are many albums I'd rather have. I'm debating tracking down a copy of the Scepter Studios acetate. As for other RSD releases, now that you have given me another shot at The Cure/Dinosaur Jr. Side by side (Thank you, btw) I think the only things I would want at this point are Point and Light, and Built to Spill.
  16. The mention of 'scepter' and my mind flashed to the Velvet Underground Scepter Studios acetate, and how this is pretty much the exact opposite of that.
  17. I got what I needed. I almost bought Velvet Underground, but I prefer the first album, and Lou Reed solo.
  18. Still looking for The Cure/Dinosaur Jr. 7" if anybody has a source, or one spare.
  19. Ouch, what happened? I paid through paypal so I have buyer protection, but what was the damage? This was the Side by side that was damaged?
