  1. Is this the special she did for HBO in front of like, 100 people? I haven't brought a comedy LP since that Tig picture disc.
  2. I'd get the artwork in flag form, but yeah, another poor track. I think since Green I've only dug Pork & Beans and a few tracks from Death to False Metal.
  3. It was on maybe the ninth page of me searching google for the LP, they'd literally had it traded in a couple of days earlier! Had to use google translate for my email but we worked it out. I just need Brain Thrust Mastery now, and there's no chance of it getting repressed any time soon...
  4. I got a mint We Are Scientists - With Love & Squalor from the website of a Greek record store a few weeks back for 12 euros.
  5. Canceled my yellow pre order with KRM as it still hasn't shipped, and I can get it cheaper from my local record store who already have it!
  6. I'm into this. I was a huge fan of all the big synths on ACBTLD, and the vocals are just far back enough to remind me of No Devolucion. I love the vocals on the latter, it's like Geoff is haunting the songs rather than taking a prominent role in them.
  7. Just got my Amazon.ca copy, clear vinyl and numbered 393. Rad.
  8. I've received 5 out of 9 so far, but they've kept me in the loop about delays so I'm content. Everything's arrived intact.
  9. Totally, 100,00,000% order. It's got the pace & mayhem of Hot Damn! and the quality riffage of Gutter. I wasn't as sold on Ex Lives as a lot of other people seemed to be, but having heard FPU I feel like they've just gotten way better at playing to the new drummer's strengths. New Junk Aesthetic sounded like a less vibrant Big Dirty to me so the fact they're back to sounding this good is remarkable.
  10. I reckon the piano track is a nod to ol' Josh Scogin. There's definitely some Chariot in this album, aside from the monstrous amounts of riff porn. I burst out laughing during one of the earlier tracks because the drums were so ridiculous.
  11. Have any UK folk or people who ordered from Kings Road Europe had a shipping confirmation yet?
  12. Had an £18 customs charge slip I had to pay yesterday, then today there was a big, microwave-sized box from B&N waiting when I got home from work. TWO FUCKING RECORDS INSIDE. I've emailed them and begged them to ship the rest out together as one shipment, if I get hit with a customs charge every time then the 3 for 2 deal will have made me a loss.
  13. If this goes through then it'll even out the $40 I blew on my white, semi-dissolved pressing.
  14. TAOM is one of those albums I listen to (on CD sadly) not all that often, but every time I do I think it's incredible.
  15. That new song's great. I like how on that bundle the booklet's signed by 'the entire band' like they're the Polyphonic Spree and not a two piece.
  16. Yeah sorry, I meant when this is released it will be £16.99 in store.
  17. HMV are doing it for £69.99 in the UK, that's a tenner less than Amazon. Also I was holding off posting this until I got a shipping confirmation (which I just got) but this is the most ridiculous bargain ever: http://www.tmshop.co.uk/lcd-soundsystem-this-is-happening-pack.html That's a tee, a record bag, and This Is Happening on both CD and double LP for SEVEN POUNDS. I've no idea what their international shipping costs are like, but either way that's a crazy deal.
  18. Went for two Death Cab LPs and the last LCD SS record, even with intl shipping it still beat getting them off Amazon.
  19. This seems strange, in the UK at least you can stroll into a branch of HMV and order the clear variant from the last pressing for £15.
