I pre-ordered It Follows from CC Vinyl and I still haven't gotten a shipping notice. Plus the site lists it as on backorder now, so I'm not feeling too confident. I also hate that their account info when you log in to their website does not give you any sort of order status information whatsoever.

The problem with TIHC for me is that there are about half a dozen bands I'd love to check out without question, however they're spread out over 4 days. It's going to probably cost me $20-25 a day to park plus a $5 dollar bridge toll. Financially it just doesn't work out to be worth my while. I think I'll probably go on Friday to check out AN but that's about it.

For what it's worth, it got a little less ridiculous in Season 2 and thus far into Season 3. If nothing else, the law enforcement characters have certainly been portrayed in a much more intelligent fashion. Really enjoying the new season, but you've got to take this show for what it is. It's not going to win an Emmy and it isn't a tour de force like Breaking Bad. However, it's still a fun thriller with decent writing and above average acting. Get yourself some popcorn, suspend a little disbelief, and enjoy.

Modern Life is War is putting out a remastered version of Witness and mounting a mini-tour with performances of the full album.

Killer lineup. May have to consider making the trip for this.

I guess last year's lineup was just more tailored to my personal preferences. Converge and E-town are a couple bands in my all time top 10. I'm excited for Snapcase and American Nightmare, but I'll probably wait until daily lineups are announced before I decide whether or not I'm going.

I think last year's TIHC lineup was far better. Pretty bummed that Blacklisted isn't on the bill.

Looked up a setlist from last night and they played 14 songs. Headlining set length at least. I'm not an ATG fan but I think I'll still grab a ticket and go now when they come through in a couple weeks.
