  1. Are any of these going to retail? I dig the music but I haven't see the film yet and, in a very rare appearance, my responsible side showed up today so I was thinking of holding off on this and Fury Road.
  2. Got a shipping confirmation for my HT order, but when I opened it up it shows Deja however I wasn't charged for it, only the other record in my order. Emailed customer service...
  3. Anyone listen to the Shape of Punk to Come yet that can comment on the sound quality? Curious as it is a single LP.
  4. Really glad the set times worked out alright - I can see American Nightmare, Thrice, Real Friends, Nora, Poison the Well, From Autumn to Ashes, and Pianos Become the Teeth without issue. Now the bigger decision at hand is whether or not to trek into Brooklyn on Friday night to see PTW's warm-up show... Oh yeah, another issue that many of you can possibly relate to - I haven't seen most of these bands in years - how the hell am I going to manage to hold all the merch my drunken ass is bound to buy? And does anyone know any good pre-grame spots in Asbury?
  5. Man, I wonder how pricey this thing is going to be....interchangeable covers, 2xLP...
  6. http://www.amazon.com/Mad-Max-Original-Picture-Soundtrack/dp/B00VLICRGA/ref=tmm_msc_swatch_0?_encoding=UTF8&sr=8-3&qid=1431364985
  7. Yeah, it's getting rave reviews. Listening to some samples of the score right now and I think I'm probably going to bite on this.
  8. I was able to order this off HT this morning.
  9. Isn't that why I'm going? lmao. My girlfriend made me promise to keep all of my teef. On a related note, I can't wait to see the reaction bands like American Nightmare, FATA, and PTW get from the kids there to watch bands like Attila and Motionless in White. Should make for an interesting weekend.
  10. I'm down with fancy packaging, etc. as long as I can have the whole album on a single LP.
  11. I didn't care for any of those posters. Thought last year's Frightmare offerings were significantly better. That ANOES poster just looks silly to me; I'm surprised people are digging it so much.
  12. That is exactly the sort of insight I was looking for - much appreciated.
  13. Yeah, I understand it for larger venues. In particular I'm looking at a venue I've frequented dozens of times over the last decade, Starland Ballroom. I've never been to a show there where any section was actually blocked off, however depending on the show the capacity is listed anywhere between 1,000 and 2,000+. I'm curious if they modify the 'capacity' based on the ticket sales...
  14. So for some time now theprp.com has been posting stories about concert earnings and attendance; here's the most recent one as an example: http://www.theprp.com/2015/05/06/news/earnings-attendance-from-system-of-a-down-marilyn-manson-e-town-concrete-mastodon-etc-shows/ They're derived from a most genre-encompassing report on Billboard: http://www.billboard.com/biz/current-boxscore Anyone else fascinated by these? I've always been interested in film box office numbers, but this is even more fun to pick apart as you can sort of gauge the popularity of different styles of artists from region to region. I also find it interesting how vastly different the max capacity is for the same venue from show to show. Anybody know what goes into determining that?
