Hey, I actually really like this one. Ended up missing out on the Early Bird cuz I didn't wanna gamble on a preorder, but hopefully someone sells theirs around cost on Discogs or something

This album somehow really hits the spot for me to this day. Glad to finally see it getting a pressing.

There will probably never be a good sounding pressing of it unless they completely remix & remaster the album from the tapes. I love it to death, but it is one of the most obnoxiously produced records to such a puzzling degree that it literally hurts sometimes to listen to it.

This is also a perfect example of why I don't trust the loudness war DR database...the first press of Three Cheers is like one of the flattest, worst-sounding records ever and it's got reasonably impressive DR scores:

Agree that the songwriting is there but it sounds fucking abysmal, haven't listened to it since the month it came out cuz it hurt too much

Stepping in to say I’ve been in this server for years at this point and it’s gotten me a ton of stuff just from keeping tabs on the feeds, so I do recommend it

Hey guys I'm new to the collective--go easy on me! Never played any vinyIs before, but my grandpa just had a heart attack and I inherited his entire collection (score!). Does anyone know if this vinyl is worth anything? I'd love to make a tidy profit so I can afford to do a line before the funeral, would really bum me out to experience that sober.

I could’ve sworn the product page said so, but I can’t find any trace of it so I must be confusing my memory with something else. Regardless, got the color.

Things have been going really well for me lately and with my last few years' track record, that's kinda unprecedented. I think transitioning has been massively positive for my mental health and had a sort of cascading influence on other facets of my life. I saved four months of rent when covid cut my lease short and the semester went online (moved back in with my dad until next semester), and my new landlord said she won't start charging me for rent/deposit unless my university confirms they're going to be open in the fall. With the money I saved, I finally decided to upgrade my TT and cart after five goddamn years. Those should be arriving next week, and I'm incredibly excited.

Hope everyone else can report similar prosperity!

Got a white, very excited. This material is super overlooked.

I've listened to the album 10.5 times today (10 times through and some cherrypicking later) so I think at this point I'm gonna say that for his solo stuff we cool > worry > no dream > ILLS > post

factoring in BTMI and ASOB would make it too complicated but overall vacation is still my #1

Well it never got pressed until 2004 so it can't be any earlier than that, but I'd wager it's a newer one

Happy to report that I did end up getting her a copy at retail price (and one for myself, thankfully)!
