  1. From the Spacelab9 blog. Sorry if this was already posted.

"Because there is simply no sure-fire way of preventing this same problem from occurring again other than preventing large numbers of people from attempting to access the site all at one time, any future sales will not be announced in advance but will instead be made available on the site at random times on a first-come, first serve basis."

Random time drops from now on. Tawk amongst yaselves.

    We knew that already

  2. Long time lurker, first time poster here. I received a lead on one of the unclaimed secret McCartney Sweet Thrash RSD promos. This was at the top of my want list. Before I hop in my car and drive a couple hundred miles to claim my grail, I figured it was worth a shot to enlist the help of the board first. I'm offering a $50 "reward" (or let me know a record you're looking for) plus gas money and postage if you can send me the record. Reply with your location and if you are nearby I will tell you which store it is at and we can go from there. Thanks for your help!

The location under my post count is true, no sense in being redundant  :P

  3. According to an email I just got from them...

On May 25th, SPACELAB9 will present the first of two releases in a new video game soundtrack series. Beginning first with an LP for Capcom's legendary MEGA MAN, the album contains a collection of the most memorable moments and awesome boss themes from the game's 1987 debut up through 2010's Mega Man 10. The second tops IGN's list of the best RPGs of all time (any guesses?). Both albums will initially be released on picture disc format and available exclusively at Hot Topic. Non-picture disc fans stay tuned for more exciting news about these game titles and many others on the way...

I know mine or anyone else's input won't have any ultimate effect on anything, but I just really REALLY hope fallout is available as a non-picture disc. I'd probably have trouble ordering it otherwise.

  4. Looking for a copy of this. I only have Run The Jewels and Polaris to trade, might be willing to make a money offer for anyone who can get a copy as well. PM me if you got the goods!

There were an abundance of these. I don't know of any stores that have them, but I know people in other threads said that there were tons left at their stores. Try the RSD thread if you get no luck here.

  5. Hate to interrupt this delightful mess of an argument, but does anyone have a copy in hand of/store near them with Better Call Saul? I got one for myself, but when my friend saw it he said he wanted one. Not super urgent, but if anyone would be willing to go get one/part with theirs at cost, my buddy would be grateful.

  6. Here's a bit of much needed perspective for ya'll

What if someone had a terminal disease and couldn't afford the medical care, and was trying to make money in any way possible, and found they could by flipping records? Would that make them a "turd" just because you couldn't get your precious out of print wax disks for a price YOU personally find fair? Christ.

Just an example, an extreme one mind you, to illustrate how fuckin self righteous this board is.

You could always cook meth instead

  7. I think this "staining" Andrewlucas is talking about only happened on the Glassjaw Worship and Tribute release. I think standard PVC sleeves are ok, but people should definitely put the records in paper sleeves.

On the subject of safe sleeves, if a record comes with an inner sleeve that has a design on it and it's cardstock-ish, is it safe to use? (Think Joy Division's Unknown Pleasures).
