Origional first lp on their own Moon label (which later became Anthem label) now worth $700-900  even though pressed in quantity of 3500.

Hey everyone!  About six weeks ago I took the plunge and decided to buy a turntable (Technics SL-D1) and some records.  Luckily my dad had an old Kenwood receiver and some JBL speakers lying around, so I was set.
 
To say the least, vinyl has become a little obsession of mine over the past six weeks.  I've already blown most of the money that I'd been making from my new job, but hey, it's not like I had anything else to spend that cash on.
 
Anyways, here's my collection so far.  Most of these LPs are reissues, as I just don't have the kind of money to afford great quality original pressings (for the most part).  Still, I'm pleased with where my collection is at.  What do you guys think?

Depending on how you look at it, I was either being a complete bastard or just trying to pour some oil into the bonfire. I only posted because I was offered an amazing chance to have an early listen as a reviewing opportunity. Which is super good, because I wasn't too sure I would be getting the vinyl before. This stoked me up though and if I can find the funds, I'll jump on it immediately.

I'm too old to keep track of all the indie bands who have formed after 2002, especially in the post-post-mp3 blog hype machine era, and I'm too green of a vinyl collector to offer any wax wisdom.  So all I have to give are posts abut Kind of Like Spitting and effortful attempts at amusing myself.

Oh, man. Imma tease you guys and tell you that I'm midway through the album and it really is killer.

We were expecting no less but still, completely mindshattering.
