Again, i never said i dont buy imperfect things, but if it says mint or near mint, with no other notes, i expect it to be perfect or close to it. Real difficult. Lol, i definitely do. Well, it really depends on how bad it is, but even little scratches and dings Ill try to buff out or pull out myself. I special ordered the freaking thing, im going to try to keep it as nice as possible for as long as possible.

To each their own. If you are selling records, just grade correctly and its really no big deal. I dont order much on ebay, or online in general as it is. The mail fucks stuff up more than anything.

It really depends on what my expectations are. If I am buying a new record, or a record that states that it is near mint, then it better be perfect. I like things perfect, and I don't mind paying a little extra to ensure it is perfect. On the other hand, there are some records that I just want a copy of, and I will happily buy a non perfect copy, as long as I knew ahead of time and paid what I thought was acceptable value.

Yeah, no fun at all. She was fine, had no known issues related to this up until December 2010. One day, out to eat with a friend, and she had a seizure, and nothing has been the same ever since. Cherish every day, you never know what will happen.

My wife has MS and Epilepsy and she has a difficult time using our manuals, and I like to try to keep things easy for her. While the pro ject looks great, I think the denon, especially with the upgraded cart, will work out better for us.

I just picked up the upgraded denon dp300f from turntablelab. Its my first new turntable, so we will see... I know, I know, its an automatic, but that is a necessity in our house, and the denon seems like a great table otherwise.

I ended up picking up the upgraded denon for the same price. i would have loved to have the debut carbon, but need to have an automatic in this house.

Long time modest mouse fan here, and I really enjoyed it too. I dont know what all the negative hubbub was about.

I don't, and I do generally tip fairly well in other instances. Its just that the USPS already pays pretty well (at least compared to others for my locale) and I would rather tip folks that can use it more and get paid a lot less. Also, there is a law stating that civil servants cannot receive cash tips, and that includes USPS mail carriers.

Of course, its definitely not always for the best, I never said as much. If anything, I think Modest Mouse is more of an exception. There are many bands that I used to love that have sucked for decades. That doesn't mean that bands should just continue to make music that sounds like their first few records just to appease fans. Maybe this is just where Issac is in his life, he is middle aged at this point. Either way, I appreciate the music.

I always find it funny when people expect 40 year olds to write similar music as they did when they were 20. Either way, I have loved Modest Mouse since I first heard them on a mix tape a friend gave me back in 96 or so. I don't get the hate for the past couple albums, I enjoyed the new single and can't wait for the new album.
