  1. Agreed with the sonic quality of the Standing reissue. I always thought that was the last great Oasis album. It has a different vibe then the rest of the bands catalogue, very transitory. While each of the albums done with Gem and Andy have their moments, the consistency was long gone.
  2. Agreed, Dogs Eating Dogs had much more of a blink vibe going on.
  3. P+P may have been a joke as far as albums meeting release dates, but they were on the ball as far as customer service is concerned. Sadly that also does not seem to be the case anymore.
  4. So bummed over this record. As a huge fan of Trio and Blink, I thought this would be a summer banger. It's soulless, generic garbage. None of Skiba's influence comes across in the songs. It sounds nothing like +44, I don't know why anyone would compare it to that. It just reeks of a John Feldman steered ship.
  5. Paper and Plastick are killing me right now. Earlier this week I received an email about the Medictation record they were releasing. Preorders went up for this album in January, and it has been delay after delay after delay. In the email, the label announced that they were no longer handling the release of the vinyl, that the band themselves were now overseeing it. Refunds would be available if you email P+P and request one. On the P+P site, there is a generic contact form for anyone to use to reach them and get a response. I requested my refund for that title, as well as the We Are the Union EP that was announced in April 2015 and never was released. Never got a response from the label. So I found Vinnie's email address, sent him the same message for the refund. I have not gotten a reply from him either. This is is by far the worst experience I have ever had dealing with customer service. I will never order from Paper and Plastick records again.
  6. This is being repressed later this year if you want to avoid paying a big price. Trever said that the S/T, Big Choice and Don't Turn Away are all getting repressed this year thru his Antagonist label.
  7. When it comes to Rare Breed-Paper and Plastick, nothing surprises me. I preordered the We Are The Union EP on vinyl in April of 2015 and I still haven't gotten it yet.
  8. Agreed, I watched it on Sunday and felt the same. I thought the movie itself was a little boring and predictable, I also did not like the CGI ghosts. I didn't go in expecting a horror film, but I don't think it worked as a gothic romance either.
  9. Sound Garden in Baltimore had this for $19.99, so that became my purchase for the day
  10. The shark jump happened with Glenn and the dumpster, Walking Dead is just playing it safe and not taking risks. I'll be watching in October because I've stuck with it this long, but I won't be surprised when it's just Eugene or Abraham gone from the show.
  11. Went to the Trenton punk rock flea market and picked up some jems Weston - Matinee Leatherface/HWM - BYO split Mad Caddies - Quality Soft Core
  12. My first Warped Tour was in 2000 I remember that the Bosstones,Millencolin and Green Day headlined. I recall seeing the Suicide Machines having an insane pit, and Flogging Molly played on a dirt side stage. My favorite memory from the show was watching a man get shot out of a canon when the Bosstones played. Warped has not been relevant to me in about a decade now.
  13. I almost sold my copy of this a year ago, but i'm glad I held on to it. Love the newest Rehasher album
  14. Brendan mentioned at the Philly in-store that they would have the vinyl on the upcoming tour.
  15. this is on Amazon for $14.99 for those with prime memberships
  16. ordered from the LTJ store. shipping was a bit more than I liked but that band always will get my money.
  17. Maybe it's because I only ordered the BOTAR EP. I don't know what to tell you.
  18. Click on checkout, not the pay with PayPal option. Enter your info, and you'll get the option.
  19. By the way, a First class shipping option has been added
  20. I was under the impression that the copyright infringement part of the lawsuit was that Victory did not consider keasbey nights redux and the covers album to be part of the contract fulfillment. We've seen bands such as reel big fish and unwritten law release new albums made up of re-recorded old songs, in both cases greatest hits. It was done because their respective labels owned the albums the songs appeared on, and they wanted to be able to have ownership of those songs again. Because the Streetlight demo and BOTAR were done before streetlight was on Victory, I'm sure these new vinyl released are fine. The cd versions of both have been in existence for years.
  21. has anyone tried contacting them to see if they would allow for a media mail option? Since it now includes tracking I don't see why it would be an issue
