White Stripes "Peel Sessions" showed up today from Bull Moose. Nice packaging on this one. Tip-on gatefold with the soft-touch finish that TMR had become so fond of. And what's this--a download card?! I think that might be a first for TMR.

Got the e-mail this morning and asked about AOF ship date. This was the response: "These records are scheduled to finish production this month and will begin shipping shortly after that." Considering the last update said bundles would ship in May, I'm surprised that they split shipments and incurred extra shipping costs to get the rest out in April if AOF is indeed due within a couple weeks.

I have had no problem being patient on this, but that later date better be sometime next month.

Amazon.ca order has shipped, though looks like Amazon.com still hasn't gotten these. Strange that Amazon.ca would have (and be shipping) RSD releases, but I'm not complaining.

The Gold Dollar Vault is a sharp looking set. Beautifully done box and jackets. All the gold ink is metallic. And nice, new mailers from TMR too. Only (minor) complaint is that the vinyl color is off the mark. It's a clear orangey yellow and doesn't come close to matching the gold ink or the mockup photo.

Fewer than 40 left in the online store, and they sent out an e-mail to let everyone know (and also confirmed the rest will be sold on tour). Act now if you plan to buy online.

Ditto. The fact that I had to go out and buy an (admittedly cheap) copy of UGWNL on Blu-ray after buying the beautiful box set is insane. And that was so many years ago now--Blu-ray production must be cheap enough by now.

I really wish they would start issuing Blu-ray copies (optional surcharge?).

Thanks! I got a hit for what is probably the same copy on Discogs. Just can't bring myself to spend more than Discogs highest price.

Has anyone in the US gotten shipment notice yet? Ordered immediately during the presale and still nothing.

Based on what mertzrock was seeing for stock numbers during the secret presale, they are probably holding half of these back for the tour.
