Did anyone else get The Strokes - First Impressions of Earth? The copy I got has a lot of noise and "On the Other Side" hits a groove where it just keeps repeating over and over.

Not that I've noticed. Which version do you have?

Best Buy's pre-order used to say (Col) which I can only assume stood for colored. But it doesn't say it anymore.

$7.50 Ground Shipping? That a little steep. Is this the only place to get the colored vinyl?

I just pre-ordered from Matador and Media Mail was one of the shipping options to choose from. $4.17. That's to Pennsylvania.

Mine should come today, but every other record I got from Best Buy before came in one of those hassle-free cardboard packages.

Arcade Fire "Reflektor" has a different running order than the CD. I'm pretty sure it's due to the length of some of the songs and getting them all to fit.

One time I ordered a Blu Ray player that said it got Delivered but was nowhere to be found. So I called Best Buy's customer service and they basically told me there was nothing they could do. A couple days later someone from Best Buy called to follow up on my claim. I told him how they said there was nothing they could do and that I was pretty mad about it. He gave me a refund.

I've ordered quote a few on there and never had any problems.

Yeah, I got the backorder notice for Royal Blood. My order status still shows The Strokes records as "In Progress". I've combined backorders and pre-orders with other items before and I still got free shipping. In those cases I didn't have to wait for everything to become available.
