I'm thinking about getting the Sleeve City 2.5 Outer Sleeves because it's 20% off right now. For the people that have them, do they have a seam that makes it hard to read the spine on single LPs?

Just curious what problems? I've seen threads on it on here and Audiokarma and people seem overall pleased with it.

The official Record Store Day website has a Participating Stores Search. But just because a store is Participating doesn't mean they will have ever release.

I clicked on one of the items he had listed (I believe it was the Madness 7") just to see what other listings were selling it for. There were others listed for like 0.30 Euros. Quite the spread. Maybe he's trying to drive up the Median Price.

I only ask this because you didn't exactly say it in your question. Did you try cleaning the stylus? It sounded like you brushed and clean the record but you may want to try cleaning the stylus.

It says First Pressing on Marble Vinyl. So I would take that to mean anywhere you buy it initially (amazon, local shop etc.) would be the marble.

I actually just got the "Gimme Something Good" 7" from Amazon. On the same order I got a guitar capo and everything was just floating around in a cardboard box. The 7" was actually stuck below the bottom flaps. Luckily no damage but I thought it was a strange way to package it.

Achtung Baby is their best. But if you listen to Boy, War and the Joshua tree first, you may have a better appreciation for the big change in their sound that Achtung Baby was.

I think you were posting in another thread about some budget speakers. If you are looking for a more budget turntable have you looked into the U-Turn Orbit? http://www.uturnaudio.com It gets a lot of praise for it's price tag. It would probably sound better than that Audio Technica. P.S. did you decide on some speakers?

How do you figure that? I see the Carbon is $399 and the Debut III is $325. Is there a special on Musicians Friend that makes it cheaper?

I've seen some people mention these are good budget speakers. But I have no personal experience with them.
