  1. So the new album is fuckin’ great and the Kickstarter packages should be shippin’ out soon! The lead singer posted a picture of a bunch of the perks in his apartment, so hopefully they’ll arrive before Thanksgivin’ or shortly after. ::edit:: Since I guess I’m the only TR fanatic I’ll say with an edit instead of a triple post, my package came in perfectly as did my friend’s copy who lives a few miles away. He has made me super jealous that he went with the t-shirt package, whereas I went fer the USB. But they have said that they may put up any extras of stuff fer sale “after the dust settles.”
  2. If only Zebrahead would release their first three (when they were awesome) albums on vinyl! They are a said shadow of what they once were.
  3. If you ever wanna part with it you know who to contact!
  4. I need that Bill Hicks (even though I think it’s the same as the CD release)! Might wanna pick that String Quartet Studio Ghibli release too. But overall this list is just a big ol’ yawn and a hard pass.
  5. Of cours this goes up the month I have to have my oil changed, car inspected, and pay my car tax! But I must have this so I might just eat cheap ramen the rest of the month!
  6. Unfortunately I still need ALL the Oceansize vinyl and Feed to Feed. Does anyone here know if the Feed to Feed DVDs are region coded? That's been my big hang up, other than price.
  7. I've got both "Frames" and "Self Preserved" so I'm definitely in on this when it gets released! Such an under appreciated band!
  8. I loved their debut album, so I might try and snag that on vinyl. Hell, I've loved them since I first heard a demo of "Bhudda For Mary" on some Interscope promo CD. "A Beautiful Lie" has some great songs, but doesn't hold a candle to the s/t. And everythin' they've released since is pretty much okay. Their live shows were great back in the day, but I haven't seen them since 2006.
  9. Granted I thought their last album wasn't quite as stellar as "The Tide and It's Takers," or "Collisions and Castaways," but I enjoyed it. "Death Eater" sounds pretty good on first listen, so I'm likely in fer this as well!
  10. I might have to give this one more try. It's absolutely one of my favorite movies and as you all clearly know the soundtrack is amazin'!
  11. Just in case someone here missed out on the KS, until 2.August you can still snag a copy of the greatest hits vinyl from http://tubring.bigcartel.com/product/tub-ring-polyvinyl-chloride-the-best-of-tub-ring-double-vinyl-lp-preorder. Tracklist is: A1 Bite the Wax Tadpole A2 When the Crash Happened A3 Invalid A4 Numbers A5 Optimistic B1 The Promise Keeper B2 Bird of a Different Color B3 Killers in Love B4 Psychology Is B.S. (Not Science) B5 Habitat B6 O.C.D. C1 Robot Trilogy C2 Living With Rene's Head C3 Stop This (NOW!) C4 I Could Never Fall In Love With You C5 Faster C6 I Shot Your Faggot Horse Bitch D1 Tiny, Little D2 Panic the Digital D3 Touching the Enemy D4 No One Wants to Play D5 Alexander in Charge D6 The Horrible and the Holy Overall I'm really happy with it. And I absolutely cannot wait to hear what will now be a whole new album instead of just an EP!
  12. I don't believe so. It was to be released through Red Line Entertainment (what was to be a Best Buy label I think), and has official artwork.
  13. Chris Robinson - The Destruction of Cities By Space Vehicles Shortly after The Black Crowes went on hiatus in 2002 Chris began a solo career with guitarist/engineer/producer Paul Stacey. I believe it was their Paris show that was recorded and planned to be released on vinyl. I don't know how many copies were actually pressed (I've heard less than 200), but I would just 'bout kill to have this! I've got a ripped copy on CD somewhere, but I need the real thing!
  14. I'm guessin' it was regional. Someone on their fan website Frankie's Gun says they snagged a copy. # somethin' outta 500. So I guess I'll still spend a small fortune toward an original or the repress. Bullshit.
  15. Unfortunately had to work all day on RSD and the day after so I couldn't even check my local shops fer leftovers. All I'm really lookin' to snag is The Felice Brothers - Tonight at the Arizona (reissue [did this actually happen, 'cause I've seen no news of actual release]), The Black Crowes/Jimmy Page release (missed the "Live at the Greek" reissue a few years back), and The Magpie Salute release! Any help would be great!
  16. Yup. "A Crow Left of the Murder" and "Light Grenades" really do nothin' fer me. I caught them live in 1998, had no clue who they were, immediately fell in love until "ACLotM" was released. If "INNW?" had been the follow up to "MV" I would still probably have liked the band, but the magic has long been gone.
  17. Many, many, many years ago I would have just preordered this because of the great music they made. Then they put out two garbage albums, but made a decent return with "If Not Now, Then When?"
  18. There's only a few I really want. Namely The Felice Brothers reissue and The Black Crowes/Jimmy Page 10".
  19. So I checked back on frankiesgun.com and yeah in the forum someone seems to confirm it will happen and has a test press of it. It allegedly will not include the bonus tracks from the 2008 rerelease ("Nowhere New York" and "The Country Is Gone"). I just hope they aren't yankin' my chain! The more Felice Brothers music releases in the world the better!
  20. I had read somewhere relatin' to The Felice Brothers (maybe the Frankie's Gun forum?) that possibly their album "Tonight At the Arizona" might see a rerelease this RSD. Anyone heard anythin' related to this? I'd love to own that album, but aftermarket prices are way to high fer me.
