  1. New Bermuda > Sunbather > Roads to Judah > OCHL So far Infinite Granite is firmly in #2.
  2. OCHL is my least favourite, this new stuff is much better.
  3. yeah but you GOTTA flex your setup any chance you get.
  4. well, if someone wants to get me a $1500 setup I'll gladly do another comparison 😁
  5. Got De-loused today, did a comparison of the MOV silver pressing to this, used B side of LP1. They are both really good, I'd say that Clouds Hill is extremely slightly clearer. But barely noticeable. Bare in mind I just have an Audio-Technica 60 with a shit receiver and an old surround
  6. I am a metalhead and I do like this. OH NO THEY"VE CHANGED stfu I didn't like OHC, these tracks are much better 🤷‍♂️
  7. FWIW I had to open a dispute, then they refunded me in full, never asked for the EP back so I flipped that shit 🤷‍♂️
  8. So the new pressing is very nice. No pops/clicks/noise. There isn't a huge difference in the audio quality, I think this pressing is a little more quiet than the yellow marble. However, I also received a copy of Tremulant from the EU store yesterday, an order which I had cancelled, and it came with fucking COD charges. We'll see if they respond but I'm probably just going to end up disputing the credit card payment.
  9. Got Tremulant today. Luckily despite the inadequate packing it arrived mint. The price is a fucking joke though, basic jacket, standard white inner, single page insert. that's fucking it. I haven't had a chance to listen yet, but I'll compare it to this pressing tonight: https://www.discogs.com/The-Mars-Volta-Tremulant-EP/release/128211
  10. There's a RSD UK release I'm looking for, anyone know of online UK sales/when they might be up? Zero idea here.
  11. I've never been that guy, but I'll raise hell if there is a single dent, ding, split, crease, or dish.
  12. I dig this single a lot more than anything on OCHL. Not sold on it yet, but it's good.
  13. If the cover and track names are any indication of what is to come, I'm here for Deafheaven in space.
  14. Curious about what's next, but OCHL was easily the worst of Deafheaven's releases for me, just never clicked.
  15. Woah, I don't remember this thread at all. Suffice to say I don't see this as a grey issue anymore.
  16. I mean, I loved the Ryo remix, haha. But something to consider is that the vast majority of the songs you've heard since signing were written BEFORE signing. IIRC the only thing written since singing (that we've heard so far) is Circle With Me, and they said even then some of the riffs were written beforehand. This is always what the band wanted to do.
  17. Man, I got to say I like the last two a lot more than song like Holy Roller, haha. Haven't heard anything "dumbed down" from them yet. If they wanted to just rake in fans they'd keep making Holy Rollers, that was by far their most popular song to date.
  18. same, that was the variant that was most interesting to me but oof
