Chase This Light is definitely underrated. For some reason I missed the album at the time, despite being really into them back in the day. I only listened to it about 6 months ago for the first time, but its brilliant. Highlights for me are Big Casino, Let It Happen (chorus is ridiculously catchy), Firefight, and Dizzy.

I heard the new song a few days ago when it leaked. I won't lie, at first I wasn't much of a fan, but after a couple of listens it's grown on me. I just know I'll end up pre-ordering this...

Ha, love it! I REALLY want to buy him a cool little pirate eye patch, and the wife wants to buy him one of those collars that looks like a shirt... He was a rescue cat, he'd been found on the streets by an organisation and they'd been trying to re-home him for 6 months. No-one wanted him because of his missing eye, but we couldn't resist him! He's my little dude, he follows me everywhere and sleeps on my pillow every night.

Popped my head in to see if there's any TLOU news, glad to see I haven't missed it! Not big on soundtracks so never ordered via Mondo before, but TLOU is too good to pass up. I'm half expecting to spend more than I'd like, just from the small amount of info we do have. I just hope they don't go crazy on the price like that $150 Iron Giant. Thinking maybe they will announce details during SDCC? Seeing as we know it's any day now it would make sense, right?

So I sent a message to Eimear Noone via Kickstarter and asked whether the "Link To The Celts" album would get a vinyl pressing... She replied saying it wouldn't be worth doing unless there were at least 200 people interested, and asked if there would be a demand for it. I told her I'd happily post on here to see if I could drum up some numbers. WalnutSoap suggested using Thunderclap, so I've signed up there and created a page. It'll take a couple of days to be approved but once it is I'll share the link as that will allow me to publicly collate numbers. If this goes well then who knows, maybe this could lead to Nintendo getting wind of the need for other things to be pressed....? Just a little heads up for anyone who hasn't bought these yet, Amazon UK has the box set up for £27.99 direct from them. It's out if stock but obviously you can still order it etc. I got lucky a week or so ago and ordered it at £20.99 when it was out of stock and it arrived today. Sounds great! Might be worth a go for those in the states who want the UK version??

Oh god! I just re-read the article and completely missed this INCREDIBLE selling point! "This vinyl record player works with built-in full-range stereo speakers AND has the ability to send signal out to the speakers you've got in the corners of your room with RCA line-out" What a time to be alive....

Haha I'm glad I'm not the only one who thought it was a little odd... I definitely think it's unnecessary. Don't get me wrong, it looks nice, visually its different to the norm and with some nice coloured variants it would be a good "conversation piece", but ultimately my concern is with that tonearm. I mean gravity plays a big part in everything working in unison on a normal TT (counterweight etc), why fuck with that?
