  1. Man, after reading everyone's comments on Shenmue, and then reading this article, I genuinely feel like I missed out on something amazing! Like playing Final Fantasy 7 all those years ago for the first time and being amazed at every part of it; from the music to the visuals, to the amazing story, and everything in between. Think I'm gonna have to pick up a Dreamcast and a copy.... http://www.theguardian.com/technology/2014/may/02/shenmue-sega-classic-14-years-too-late
  2. Man, I have like 4 left to get on series 2. Might resort to eBay as I can't be bothered with the hassle! I ordered the Series 1 and 2 mounts from here to go with some Ikea Ribba frames. Will post some pictures when they arrive: https://www.etsy.com/uk/shop/LaserFrame?section_id=all
  3. They've specifically made 2 different posts on Facebook about them today. Says this about Shenmue: "All copies include a traditional OBI strip, spot varnished cover and a lithographic print. Featuring music by Takenobu Mitsuyoshi, Ryuji Iuchi, Osamu Murata and Yuzo Koshiro. The price is £19.99, across all editions."
  4. Totally in for that red with black splatter for SoR!! Also, probably not the right place to ask this question, but I never played Shenmue. Didn't have a Dreamcast. Was it actually that good? I seem to remember for you guys in the states, isn't Mondo or DW handling distribution?
  5. Yeah £19.99 is fairly standard on this side of the pond unfortunately. Though tbh there are much worse prices in the UK.... Exhibit A: http://www.banquetrecords.com/crackstodon
  6. 100% getting Streets of Rage!! Man I loved that game...
  7. I like it, but the massive "Self Titled" spoils it for me. If it just said "Deftones" it would be far better. Though maybe that's just me being picky.... Will hold out for White Pony!
  8. These are a bit expensive for me, but thought some of you guys might like this: http://www.eurogamer.net/articles/2015-05-20-gallery-launches-range-of-fine-art-sega-prints The Golden Axe one is nice, and the game is a classic, but I can't exactly say I would want to spend £75 on an art print for it!
  9. Well this blows! Any chance of a windows phone release? I'm just going to point out that with windows 10 coming up I should be easier than ever to port apps across from both ios and android, plus you'll be able to release the app across all platforms (phone, desktop, tablet, even xbox one I believe)
  10. Thanks n_tyndall. Arrived today in great condition! Will leave you some positive feedback for you.
  11. It's also up on Amazon UK, but no pre-orders are possible yet. There's no info other than who's distributing it in the UK. http://amazon.co.uk/dp/B00WVQQMEY
  12. I need this in my life! Been listening to it on Spotify for a few weeks now and it's great. Any orchestral Final Fantasy music on vinyl is an instant buy for me...
  13. Wait, this is for the animated films right? I got excited thinking this was for the Peter Jackson films...
  14. Wow, that's pretty odd. I wonder why it was done so badly? As long as the sound quality isn't god awful then that's the main thing I guess. Would still love to add this to my collection though if anyone is happy to give their copy a new home!
  15. Oh really? The packaging for the first album is great. Got any snaps? :-)
  16. Crack The Skye is up for pre order at a few places. Really hoping that "baby blue" is like the blue Jimmy Eat World Futures pressing. Cant get enough of that! SRC has it at $19.99, whereas Banquet Records here in the UK has it for £34.99!! Lol absolutely ridiculous price. There's a mistake on their page which says its a 7LP set (uh... What?), so I've emailed them to ask. SRC clearly indicates its a single LP, but part of me is hoping that the UK is getting a different 2LP pressing (especially given the price).
  17. God only knows how I missed this last year! I picked up their first album this RSD and would love to pick up Death Of A Dead Day if anyone is willing to part with it? Happy to pay average price in line with Discogs (around £25 I believe).
  18. 50 bucks for that shit? No thanks...
  19. Ha, I remember that. Though I suppose its not difficult to do with a bit of editing. I remember a couple of bum notes here and there, so I wonder if they'll have cleaned those up too... Was a great gig though, I've not really heard much past Hours so was pretty chuffed that they played the whole album!
  20. Sorry if this has been mentioned elsewhere. I had a look but obviously this thread is pretty long! Just spotted this on Banquet Records up for pre-order. http://www.banquetrecords.com/starwarsep1 Now, obviously Phantom Menace isn't the best Star Wars film, but I'm wondering if this means the rest will be coming at some point. Anyone got any info on this? I do like that hyperdrive version...
  21. Sweet! I was at this gig. 100% picking this up, even just as a souvenir! Wonder if you can see me on the DVD :-p
  22. Yes! Cannot wait for this! I loved KNY. Deftones can do no wrong in my eyes (although that said, I never got on with their self-titled album). Can't wait for another chance to see them live.
