I can't find them thread about the MTS variant(s), but the mp3s were a bit lacking in sound quality. Is this the same for the vinyl? Actually opinions on any of the variants would help.

What else could MTS possibly be working on that is causing such a clog in this album's release? The repress of TOYPAJ doesn't seem like it would be that time consuming to put toegether, aside from that I'm not aware of what else they're working on at the moment.

I kinda wish they would have screened straight black on white for the sleeves with the black disc, similar to the screened copies of brendan kelly/joe mcmahon - wasted potential. I would definitely get this if I didn't already have it.

Yeah, that sure was fun a decade ago when the album was new and being released to the general public and sales weren't focused on a specific group of people (us). I find it hard to justify randomizing something that will be pricey and that mostly collectors are going to buy online just to kind of relive a so-so shopping experience from ten years ago.

I highly doubt MTS would be talking about another album that came out in 2001....

I laughedoutloud. Also, for this price I sure hope it's a dbl lp! Than again, the Diamond Eyes press was a single pricey disc, yet sounded great.

Also, I was hoping for a light purple+black color scheme similar to the CD. Like the a/b disc a purple w/black swirl and the c/d disc a black w/purple swirl ala The Always Open Mouth. Regardless I will be buying this.

My SRC copy arrived today. It appears a disgruntled post office employee decided to stomp the mailer it into the shape of a V (for Vendetta). The sleeve is thrashed and without even opening the shrink wrap I can tell the record is wrapped to shit and will either not play or will play very badly. Inb4: "email SRC". I did. I just wanna make conversation with gentlemen

This is no way "kills the rarity" of any other pressing unless they found another 500 copies hidden somewhere and are now selling those... which they aren't.

I'm gonna mail them a birthday card tomorrow with cash in it.
