Well I just bought a record that was $51 with free shipping. Listed as NM, never played. It came all banged up, the seller however was not a record collector and it was her sons who died in Afghanistan about three years ago. She shipped it in an envelope and paid about $7.50 to ship it. She offered $10 and I took $7 as a refund because I felt bad. She said it was the first record of her sons that she sold and it broke her heart to see it arrive in the condition it did. I gave her advice on how to package records and to use media mail as it comes with tracking for free for $3.17. I was upset how it arrived but the record still played fine, a few pops but no surface noise at all so I was content.

Went to warped tour last year for my first time. It was awesome. I don't really know any of the bands this year. I'm going just because of how much fun I had last year. All I know on this year's lineup is Emarosa, Riff Raff, Our Last Night and Amity Affliction. Suggest some bands for me to see this year because I stopped following the scene around 2007

Word. Now I know...I prefer USPS anyway + my mailman collects records so I trust that he handles my packages with proper care. UPS always shows up to my house around 6 pm too, fuck that noise.

Odd...this has never happened to me with anything (to my knowledge). But, the UPS tracking for my package that is arriving today says "Package Transferred to Local Post Office" and it gives me a USPS tracking number. Nothing wrong as the USPS tracking says out for delivery, I've just never seen that before.

Yeah, it's nothing compared to $200 for a six month+ wait from Orm for a Lil Ugly Mane boxset. Thanks for the heads up!

First time purchasing from Mondo but it seems like it'll be a while before it actually arrives seeing as the email says please allow up to 3-4 weeks before item is shipped.

Might be a bit off topic, but it has to do with eBay. Just received a record with a sleeve grading of NM but came in all banged up barely VG. Of course the seller shipped in an envelope. I can return it, but would rather ask for a partial refund. Hopefully the seller and I can agree on something. What I want to ask what's an appropriate amount to ask back given I paid $51? I was hoping for at least $7. Obviously I know this is something I should be discussing with the seller. But I just want to see if this has happened to anyone?

Damn I saw mechanical animals for $50 at welfare records in Haverhill, MA a few months ago. Was tempted to buy it but didn't pull the trigger. Really wish I did. But that day I ended up with Hell-o by GWAR on red vinyl and 2pac greatest hits for $85 total so my wallet was hurting a bit anyway.

Sucks I'm gonna have to continuously call hot topic until they get it in. Travis probably has a better idea if this store will ever get it in stock. I was able to grab the Newbury variants though

I just went into hot topic and they definitely need a better way of knowing what they have for inventory. I was hoping they would have them in stock but instead they don't even know if they're getting them or not. Apparently they don't do their own orders and can't see what is being shipped to them.
