Last I recall was 2006? I didn't know about any repress. Apparently I missed it though. -

No kidding. I've been waiting years for that. -

I remember seeing that there was a repress about a month ago. I can't find a source, but the low-priced inventory is enough for me. Hopefully it's not a boot. -
Just listened to my black/white pressing yesterday. It's a shame that such a delicate album has a terrible pressing. Still a good album.

PO Soon: Interstellar Soundtrack
elroy replied to GazHilarant's topic in Vinyl Collective Message Board
Nolan is at the top of his game imo. I walked out of Interstellar uncertain of how I felt. The more I thought about it the more I enjoyed it. The plot was enormous. There was too much, even for nearly 3 hours. It worked well at capturing what it intended though. I felt the soundtrack matched the atmosphere perfectly. They went through a damn worm hole, of course the music will get obnoxiously loud. -

Great EP. Love Odd Nosdam's remix as well. -
PO: King Gizzard and the Lizard Wizard! Mind Fuzz!

Awesome. Just found out about these guys last week and I couldn't find anywhere selling their albums. This is great, thanks. -
I found it to be quite the snoozefest after several listens. I do love Pink Floyd. It felt like every song was building into something, but ultimately went nowhere. An album full of interludes essentially. It would have been cool if they expanded on half the ideas and allowed it to be a bit more cohesive. I'm not going to call it a cash grab because I know they did it for the love of music and to commemorate Wright. I just wish they had gone out with something stronger instead of music I will most likely hear in a new-age giftshop.

PO: The Flaming Lips-With A Little Help From My Fwends
elroy replied to kamalatapes's topic in Vinyl Collective Message Board
It's surprisingly bad. I didn't finish it, but after a few songs you can understand the direction of the album. Like previously mentioned, I would rather just put on the original. -
Temples // Sun Restructured // remix album

Yeah, I'm diggin that too. Wish it wasn't limited since I'm low on cash right now. -
No. Been a lurker for a while though. After checking out the pictures on their facebook page, it looks like it'll be your standard $1 thrift store type sale. Yet everything has probably been sorted through since this looks to be done annually.

A Winged Victory For the Sullen - Atomos (2x12 LTD CLEAR)
elroy replied to nelso330's topic in Vinyl Collective Message Board
This album is phenomenal. That's insane to try and talk down the prices from Kranky for 3 albums though. I don't think they were being rude at all. $16 shipped for an LP is more than generous, especially from a smaller operation. I've always felt Kranky has some of the best prices around. Anyways, I really dig this album.
