  1. So sad I somehow missed the color variant...oh well guess I'll order black.
  2. Hey Thomas, if we ordered the Lydia LP earlier in a rush to get the variant we wanted, and forgot about adding this to the cart first, is there any way to combine shipping or get a partial refund for the difference in shipping cost? Sometimes I'm not a smart man...
  3. So glad I was able to get the brown splatter. It's just so fitting for the album art.
  4. Holy shit I can't believe this is actually happening. Now to find an excuse to step out of a meeting tomorrow to get the preorder in...
  5. Even at $40 elsewhere, are we supporting HT doing a $20% markup? For the same release you can buy at literally every other store that sells vinyl for $40?
  6. So what's the deal with Lana Del Rey being listed at $49.50? Is that some kind of super late april fool's joke or a pricing error? I have zero interest in the record, but the price model alone is a sure fire way to make me boycott hot topic music.
  7. So rooks, want to run Oryx one more time today? lol
  8. I ended up with 7 fragments but no idea if any were hidden or what, or if there were chests we missed (most likely). Still kind of bummed we ran out of time for Oryx. I wanted to blind-clear the whole thing yesterday but just ran out of time, oh well. They really did an incredible job with this raid instance. The scenery is so gorgeous, and the fights are just a whole new level of challenge from bungie. The ship jumping puzzle was a blast.
  9. haha no definitely not a complete pick up that would be insane; I was just the pick up. But those guys all agreed to go in blind and their reddit post was only looking for someone blind as well. Edit: and it was only 5 hours TO Oryx, by the time we called it quits it was about 7 hours (with maybe 1/2 hour of break time counted in), and still didn't have time to down it. I'd say we were at about 7 1/2 hours, maybe 8, to down him blind, if we stuck to it.
  10. Golgorth was our biggest hang up, he took longer than any other fight. I figured out the standing in puddle things on our third attempt or something when I tried shooting them to hurt him, and then ran in for heavy ammo and saw the buff. Before that we were all trying to pass him back and forth. Then we had two people hand him off left and right while 4 of us stayed down below with shotguns and blasted him in a few attempts there. Finally got it working with a third staying out and shooting our orbs for us in order with the people passing back and forth. The pillars/runes or whatever one actually came pretty damn easy compared to the other mechanics, but it was just freak luck we got the order of platforms right once, and gave us a huge heads up to the mechanics. The daughters took some time, but probably 10 or so tries to get the counter-clockwise part figured out, but we learned from the pillars/runes that order mattered, so carried on with that logic and it continued. It really wasn't a pick-up group, it was 5 guys who have raided together since week 1 of Vault, and me as a random pick up but have raided every week since release too.
  11. Nah, if you saw what we made stupid guesses on you'd believe us haha. We wasted no time on jumping puzzles either, half our group made it second try on both. I mean when you consider world-first was 6 1/2 hours, we were at 7 hours by the time we even figured out first part of Oryx. It took us even an hour and a half to figure out the whole crit-stun thing and not waste our time with orbs first. And we were all 295+
  12. Did a completely blind run with a group last night and it was a blast. So glad nobody had done it before or wanted to look up fights, I really enjoy the trial and error of figuring out the mechanics. This raid is just on a whole new level for Bungie, really great stuff. But we ran out of time for Oryx last night after a few attempts. Figured out the mechanics (assuming it just cycles phases like it seemed) but had no time to complete it. I'll be on this afternoon/evening after work trying to finish it, anyone down to or willing to help? I have the Oryx checkpoint already. Otherwise I'll stalk reddit for some people, but figured it'd be a fun chance to play with some of you finally!
  13. Just a random heads up about your site, my work filter is blocking pretty much every link I can go to within your site saying it's a proxy. Not sure why your whole site would be a proxy, but that's what barracuda is telling me.
  14. Not sure if IGN has tested it since daily ended, but their video claims you just have to start the mission on hard. http://www.ign.com/videos/2015/09/24/destiny-how-to-easily-get-the-black-spindle-exotic?utm_source=IGN%20hub%20page&utm_medium=IGN%20(front%20page)&utm_content=21&utm_campaign=Blogroll
  15. Awesome collection man, might send you a PM on a couple shortly, but I'm guessing they already have offers. I turned your list into a PDF and hosted on google docs for people who can't see. If you want me to take it down just let me know. Here is his list: https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B0d3prXO2jP4OEVwblNBZEdVRm8/view?usp=sharing
  16. Well mine was delivered yesterday and right now still shows as unfulfilled, so I wouldn't count on that status.
  17. http://imgur.com/a/CYGRe Added a pic of the gatefold, back, front of book (stitched together which blue thread which is cool), and I didn't want to spoil the whole book but there's a pic of the "Bruised" page. Sound is great but never had original to compare against. It did come pretty dirty, the paper sleeves they were in were shedding bad. Too lazy to vac clean it yet but most of the minimal noise I hear I expect was just what my brush couldn't get and to go away with a proper cleaning.
  18. Shipping label shows they shipped from 92705 and created Friday 9/18. I'm in AZ, so if you're east of me it should be in the next couple days!
  19. Mine came today as well. It's too dark out right now for a picture to do it justice when it's laying down, so there's a pic of the blue held up to the light too. http://m.imgur.com/a/Ed94L
  20. I think "indie" is a bad terminology use here, they really mean independent record label. Vampire Weekend is a major "indie" band, sure but they're signed to XL Recordings, which probably has a bitch of a time getting pressing plants to give them the time of day for how little they have. Where as Arcade Fire is a major "indie" but they're signed to Mercury, a company of Universal. I can't imagine they run into any issues getting something pressed with Universal backing them.
  21. I think BTR has pricing model about right for what I would pay for something I enjoy but am not a major fan of. $12-15 for a single 12" LP, and $6-8 for a 7". And keep shipping to a reasonable media mail rate, especially on a 7".
