  1. I don't doubt it. They have some great releases and their vinyl is nicely done. Their sale codes are funny because the discount hardly offsets the costs with their unrealistic shipping.
  2. Reaper Records is apparently adjusting their shipping costs for 2064 postal rate inflation right now. Six 7" at $22 w/ $20 shipping - order was sent media mail. Order also missing download codes and they never returned emails about said codes. Oh well.
  3. All 3 Dropping Bombs 7" for $10 All 3 Dropping Bombs 7" for $10 All 3 Dropping Bombs 7" for $10 Spit Spewing Snakes on black vinyl - 5 song one-sided 7" of 4 originals and an AFI cover. Recorded by Chris Trestain (Build & Destroy, Tharsis they) and mastered at New Alliance East. Raging hardcore punk for fans of Left for Dead, AN, Sick of it All, Trash Talk, etc. Tharsis They 7" on black, green, or clear vinyl. Drawing inspiration from classic late 90’s Hydra Head bands like Botch, Cave-In, Coalesce, etc., Tharsis has consistently upped the ante with both their debut 2012 LP “Ominous Silence” as well as last year’s scorching split 7” with The Armed. More ferocious than ever before, the band is teaming up with new label imprint Dropping Bombs to unleash their brand new 7″ "Formless/Shapeless" that continues to meld their razor-sharp precision with primal aggression. 4 songs, unlimited headbanging. Includes members of Hollow Earth (Good Fight Entertainment). Ourselves S/T 7" on random color vinyl. 4 songs of awesome post-hardcore inspired by Quicksand, Helmet, Rollins Band, etc. Recorded at Rise Like Lions in the summer of 2015 with Matthew Cross (ex-Orange 9mm, Collapse, etc.) This 7" is also available from Deathwish Inc.
  4. UHF & Found Sound are the only two I really go to anymore. The large store on Gratiot mentioned above is Melodies and Memories. I'd also recommend Paramita Sound (smaller shop in Detroit proper). Both Record Times are closed although they are still listed in Mojo magazine as stockists.
  5. I picked up the Sonics 50 boxset but could not find a download code in the package anywhere. Anyone else experience this? The set looks amazing but it would be nice to have the downloads...
  6. Just want to say that my band (Ourselves) had a super positive experience pressing our debut 7" with Gotta Groove Records. Great people, great product.
  7. My band Ourselves is releasing a 7" next month on Dropping Bombs Records. For fans of Burn, 411, Rollins Band, Snapcase. Our debut 7" features four songs from our S/T EP pressed to vinyl by Gotta Groove Records in Ohio. Featuring a hand stamped cover with insert, you will also receive digital versions of all six songs as well as some bonus stuff (pin/sticker) for all physical orders (while supplies last). You can't not win with this deal! EDIT: Shipping now from the Ourselves bandcamp!!!
  8. I just got a refund from Merchline after not receiving the "Messengers" haze variant I pre-ordered back in Dec. 2014. (They held my order pending the Ghost Thief LP). I had to email them more than once via their site and through Paypal to get the money back. They did offer a discount code off my next purchase...doubt it'll be another pre-order but the gesture was appreciated.
  9. The copy I got of "To Ride..." has the Prosthetic Records logo on the back. Alex signed a deal with SPV to distribute the titles overseas and I think Prosthetic will service the states.
  10. Got a Dead Oceans shirt with the APTBS preorder. Their shipping rates have become a lot more reasonable.
  11. It takes them a while. I cancelled my order to add some things (and now my new order is stuck waiting on the Living Sacrifice LP). They got back to me maybe a week after I emailed them through the site after trying the link in the email.
  12. No probs having two LPs shipped to Michigan. Mailer was a little less durable than what Amazon offers stateside but no damage with my order. The real downside is the auto rip option is not available to US customers from Amazon UK.
  13. I'm possibly intested in Gentlemen if I can't find it locally. Is the link not on your site anymore?
  14. I received my Mineral lps that they shipped on the release date.
  15. Hoping they have the Shai Hulud RSD release in their distro.
  16. My favorite current Michigan band. I saw them live based on the description of their sound and they were great! “Building on their collective experiences from a decade or more of laying waste to the local Detroit underground, the members of Tharsis They formed in 2011 with the goal of creating their most sonically destructive unit yet. Drawing inspiration from classic late 90’s Hydra Head bands like Botch, Cave-In, Coalesce, etc., Tharsis has consistently upped the ante with both their debut 2012 LP “Ominous Silence” as well as last year’s scorching split 7” with The Armed. More ferocious than ever before, the band is unleashing a brand new 7″ "Formless/Shapeless" that continues to meld their razor-sharp precision with primal aggression. 4 songs, unlimited headbanging. Physical copies will appear on green, clear, and black vinyl just in time to ruin your holidays" New 7" http://droppingbombshc.storenvy.com/ http://droppingbombshc.storenvy.com/ http://droppingbombshc.storenvy.com/ Previous 7" and LP: http://tharsisthey.bandcamp.com/ http://tharsisthey.bandcamp.com/ http://tharsisthey.bandcamp.com/
  17. Just call them and let them know. They reshipped my order a couple days after calling (see my previous post - they sent me 5 lps i didn't order and none of the 12 I did order.)
  18. Nothing of note. I've got a second order arriving tomorrow, hoping for 1/2 success rate.
  19. I ordered 12 lps and received a box today. It had the correct packing slip but only 5 lps in it and none of them are ones i ordered. I called and was told they would check on it tomorrow and get back to me by phone. Stuff happens!
