  1. Yeah exactly. More specifically Low Lights, Freestyle 4, I love Kanye, Silver Surfer Intermission... not that they're bad songs they just kind of slow down the album. There are some really good songs on the album. I'm glad he included 30 Hours, that beat reminds me of some Miami blowcaine shit. There will most definitely be a boot if Yeezus was bootlegged. I think it'f kind of funny he's complaining about being broke, but only releasing this on a service a lot of people really won't sign up for. Kanye West Ideas
  2. I really like this album so far, but feel like it could have been better condensed to 10-13 tracks, lots of fluff.
  3. all I can picture are NY hipster interns hand numbering and hand stamping these
  4. When I was in CO the only way to get mail was through a PO Box. Sometimes companies that use UPS or FedEx won't allow you to ship to a PO Box. One way around this is to just use the actual address of the post office where your PO Box is and then ATTN: PO BOX xxxx or some type of indication of your PO number or even General Delivery and your name. Always worked for me. On another note I ordered this a week ago and up until yesterday it was "shipping label printed", sent them an email last night and looks like they had an "oh shit" moment and sent it out today. Looking forward to this.
  5. Found this today. Not sure how legit it is. It's just an instrumental. I'm thinking more than likely it's not, but figured I share anyway. An online shazam like service came up with nothing. It's pretty heavy, but some parts do sound like them. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=93vmPlkMSPk I guess if it gets taken down we'll know it's legit
  6. I would love to see a pressing of Cloud Cult's "Advice from the Happy Hippopotamus". Way underrated band.
  7. Aww man I've been waiting for a decent price for Division Bell. Bummer
  8. Not sure if this is the clip that was posted earlier and removed from IG as I didn't get to watch it, but found this on the youtube: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=71ZuNcSiI7g
  9. Pretty sure it was float on. Edit: It was Gravity Rides Everything for a Nissan Quest commercial back in 2003. I know I've seen it before, but can't find a clip
  10. I remember reading about when Isaac Brock sold the rights of a Modest Mouse song for a mini van commercial. Some people were giving him shit for it. His response was basically, 'screw you I have bills to pay'. Can't say I blame him. After everyone takes their cut, I'm sure some of these artists don't make a whole ton of cash.
  11. Went with the black, which I think will sell out pretty quick. $40 shipped is kind of a bummer, I wish it included a nice 7" or something. I'll probably end up getting the white at some point once the price drops. On another note, isn't Diamond Eyes only available on white?
  12. Not a huge fan of the album art, but I'm sure it will grow on me. It could be a picture of turd for all I care, as long as the music is good.
  13. Love it. I have been listening to a lot of deftones these past few weeks in the doldrums of winter, looking forward to some new stuff. If it's anything like this I'm sure it will be solid
  14. Reckless has some awesome prices on used vinyl. Their used Jazz are usually priced really low and unlike most stores they don't jack up the prices just because it's a Coltrane, Dizzy, or Ellington record. Also found a first press of Elliot Smith's S/T for $8.99.
  15. So excited for this. I really enjoy KNY. "Leathers" absolutely slays.
  16. Reminds me of this hole in the wall record store I used to go to back in the day. Small as hell with floor to ceiling vinyl located in the 'skid row' area of our city. The guy was notorious for resealing vinyl with his little shrink wrap machine, which didn't even fool little 12 year old me. Most of it was in decent shape and you could get a Hendrix or Floyd album for $4 or $5. He started jacking up his prices when vinyl caught on again and people started moving back downtown. I'm pretty sure he still does the whole shrink wrap thing. Has anyone actually experienced any damage from leaving the shrink on a single LP? It seems like everyone says it's possible, which I can totally see, but have never really heard any firsthand stories. If I have a single LP I usually just cut a little slit and leave the shrink on unless it's obviously super tight.
  17. Same. $32 is redonkulous. Keep an eye on ebay, I bought a nice copy a few weeks ago for $5. Here's a "NM" copy for $5, but they're trying to charge $11 for shipping, maybe send them a message and ask if they'll do media mail? http://www.ebay.com/itm/Modest-Mouse-We-Were-Dead-Before-LP-Vinyl-NEW-/262256579118?hash=item3d0fb5d22e:g:GegAAOSwYaFWesas
  18. Just a little FYI, if anyone is looking to order the black vinyl version. The preorder and their other two albums are available at CCmusic for $16.58. Spend more than 50 bucks and use promo "JAN1650" for an additional 25% off bringing it down to $12.44. Boom.
