  1. i thought the 2nd press is on pink. that's what recess has pics of on their site (and no mention of any blue).
  2. I couldn't find a thread about it. Is there any word on if it'll be on color or anything? It came out today, but Fat only had a link for the cd. did the vinyl get delayed maybe?
  3. a few songs in. shit's good. calling all skeletons is a really good opener.
  4. it came with just the cd booklet as an insert. not sure when that stopped happening since so many people seemed to not get one.
  5. it was early 00's if i remember right. they didn't do many. the whole thing didn't take off the way they'd hoped. I know there was a river city high one and an as friends rust one (which there were some on blue). I can't remember the numbers though.
  6. anyone know the story with the coalesce? that wasn't one of the colors of the new press, and they were claiming there wouldn't be any further presses. hmmmm......
  7. A+ informative thread. was just wondering about this 7" yesterday. thanks a ton!
  8. i have an extra copy of the first press on white (100) if anyone wants to trade.
  9. I second the Revolvers recommendation. Especially "she's out of your life." fucking great 7".
  10. I listened to "wrong" the other day for the first time in forever. Still so good...
  11. there was a pressing of "sleep, what's that?" on blue (the 4th press, i think), the split with mutley chix came on blue, and the split with g-whiz came on grey. those are the ones i remember off the top of my head.
  12. there were color presses of the lookout LPs?
  13. or just bought one off interpunk like i did late last year for $4.00 yeah, i got mine off interpunk too. was back right when the first album came out, so they must have had them for a long time. didn't realize this was getting so pricey. but really, who gives that much of a shit about the insert? i'm sure its just me, but paying that much more for something so miniscule is pretty ridiculous. especially for a record as recent as that. wackiness...
  14. weird... http://www.mutantpop.com/
  15. i had a pretty rad record store day. and pretty much everything i picked up was super cheap.... bad religion - s/t 12" ("the original") born against / suckerpunch split flexi dead kennedys - too drunk to fuck 7" w/ "caution" censor sticker x - white girl 7" agent orange - eldorado 7" on orange behead the prophet - s/t 7" lookouts - IV 7" boris the sprinkler - kill the ramones on clear and a few other things i'm forgetting. good day....
  16. i kinda wish they didn't say baroness. i enjoy baroness, but they would be cooler with just the art.
  17. i just sold about 20 mutant pop records on color a few months back. had some great times with that label. the ones i sold though... wow, hard to listen to these days.
  18. yeah, total boot. the a-side stuff is from the Kung Fu Daniel comp 7". b-sides are from Fat comps.
  19. i remember the last time i saw vinyl in a best buy was in '95 or so, and it was a bunch of 99 cent Oak Ridge Boys LPs. awesome...
  20. and that's awesome. and i'm stoked more people are getting into vinyl, it just sucks to see this crazy inflation. i remember seeing all these SST records on color in stores for years and years and no one cared. they literally collected dust. i actually had some years ago that i sold before i cared about colored vinyl. of course, you only want what you can't have, right? that's where i am now. doh!!!
