  1. is it weird that i actually say dump those bonus tracks? seriously one of the most perfect records ever. there's no need for unassociated track recorded 3 years later.
  2. they have pre-amps at any radio shack too, if you don't want to deal with ordering one.
  3. i would say pre-amp. the speakers being passive doesn't mean there's a pre-amp for the aux in.
  4. i think most people agree that their best stuff is the run of... "our bodies our selves," "and the women who love them," "love is dead," and "revenge is sweet." not to say there aren't good moments before or after, but they were just killing it for a few years there. but i also think when people refer to the genius of dr. frank, they're really referring to his lyrical wit more than the music.
  5. Road to Ruin came on yellow/blue split for the tour edition and white for the regular version. i never knew about a blue "so long sucker" either. that's rad! damn all those random lookout 7"s on color.
  6. ever since #3 went up, #1 on ebay went from $20-$30 to $60. people!...
  7. rad! thanks for the heads up! i'm really digging "upside down."
  8. so i got one on grey, they were selling it through their webstore on clear, and they had black on tour. is that everything it was pressed on?
  9. They just had the release show for the vinyl last night. I wasn't able to make it, but it seems as though it exists.
  10. http://www.misfitscentral.com/display.php?t=mpix&f=m_ead_covers.jpg the bottom one. they're all slightly see-through, but the ones they refer to as having grey hair are really obvious.
  11. If I remember right, VML struck up a manufacturing/distro deal with Liberation, then Liberation just started pressing things they didn't really have authorization to, and then paid no one involved for the sales. Never heard anything good about that label.
  12. VML was the Vindictives label (Vindictives Music Limited), and they put out a bunch of stuff other than the live 7"s (thus the catalog numbers). Their first release was the Screeching Weasel / Pink Lincolns split. The first of the live 7"s was VML #2 which was the Queers 4/18/93. It was 1500 on clear vinyl. This was before they hatched the series idea, so it looks a little different from the rest (font, layout, songs listed on the sleeve). Here are some pics...
  13. "drain" is an incredible song. interested in hearing that.
  14. got this today along with the young livers with the metal cover. the young livers turned out rad, even if the covers are too tight to put the records in. cooler than i expected.
  15. i want that "lyrics of the left hand." wish i would have heard about it a month ago.
  16. What is that 7" on the fourth row on the right with that pink background? it's the split with the Turbo A.C.s. shit, i forgot the 10"s! yeah, i've got that and the original non-pic disc press on splatter. but there are a ton more dwarves record that i don't have as well. i'd love a "blood, guts, and pussy" on red.
  17. when i got my red one it had a sticker that was the height of the one in that pic but went across the entire width of the record. it listed all the songs.
  18. this is funny when everything you have on fat besides the old propagandhi records were released in the 2000's.
  19. when this first came out it was twenty-something bucks to order from them. i wanted it, but that was just silly.
  20. jim carrey singing the dwarves in "me, myself, and irene."
  21. wow... not sure if you care (but it seems like you might), but i noticed when selling off an extra copy of the D4 split that they've remastered it since the original press. different matrixes...
