I pulled the trigger on a Pro-ject Debut III is there anything i should be aware of or have to configure out of the box?

I have a older receiver and a older pair of speakers i got when my grandma passed. Sony str-av260 receiver KLH 911b speakers (mind you the receiver is OLD) Its this As far as quality goes does anyone know about either of these? I tested it out and for some reason the receivers inputs for left speakers dont work, just wondering if this is worth getting repaired or buying some like say this. http://www.needledoctor.com/Teac-AG-790-Receiver-w-Remote?sc=2&category=664 I like the fact that it will save me a couple hundred bucks right now but if repairing it costs in the $50-$100 range i might as well just suck it up if its not worth it in the long run.

Got my hottopic order today which is funny because i was expecting my ETR one today since i was in the first batch of orders shipped. Looks and sounds amazing, so stoked to have this on vinyl. Damn, that one looks great, too bad all of them didn't turn out like that.

I've had a test press of the IATA pressing since before it came out and the jacket got sent out last week, so it might be a lil till the ones for these get sent out, unless they printed these at the same time (this isn't a knock on etr at all just a heads up)

Ive pretty much decided im gonna go w/ the debut iii. In regards to the cartridge, it looks like they come stock with a Ortofon OM5E MM cartridge. Is the Ortofon 2M Red Phono Cartridge a significant upgrade?

I agree with how ridiculous it is when someone gets pissed about having to actually do the job that they were hired to do, but I highly doubt you said that to your delivery person. If you did, there's no way that benefited you, and I'm sure you've since received broken records or missing packages. I actually did but it was at my old workplace that i was leaving the next week so i wasn't worried. My mailman at my new work is a lot nicer and doesn't care about delivering stuff.

I've had a delivery guy get bummed, my only response is "do your fucking job and shut up". Seriously, their job is to deliver mail, it blows my mind how some delivery people get pissy for having to deliver stuff. Dont like it, get a new job.

I got to Fingerprints pretty early last year and was only there for like an hour, got pretty much everything i wanted.
