I'm considering driving the 7 hours to Chicago... Who knows if these guys will ever do a more extensive tour and I've wanted a copy of Lowcountry forever.

Put me in for a copy of Lowcountry & Lucy if anyone is going.... would pay extra for your trouble.

With their "reincarnated" band (Ryan & Brian with some other dudes) touring, they apparently will have vinyl reissues available at their shows, and online after the tour, according to their recent Reddit AMA. Is anyone planning to go to one of the shows? If so can you be my hero and pick up an extra copy of whatever vinyl is for sale for me? I'd pay cost plus a bit extra for the trouble. I'm worried the vinyl will all sell out at their shows...

Anyone else have this on preorder? I ordered it when they went up on SRC in February, the damn thing has been delayed twice now for an additional month each time, and now it just says backordered. Ridiculous. It shouldn't take half a year after preorders to get a pressing out.

Greater weight does not mean better quality pressing. As far as I'm concerned it's a marketing gimmick. Source and mastering is everything.

I had rotational clicks all the way through side B, mild but annoying. Hoping the deluxe is better.

Was checking matrices to see which variant I had, and realized the words "synthesized", "sanitized", and "neutralized" are not etched into the deadwax on sides A, B, and D, respectively, as noted in the Discogs info. ??? Edit: Rainbo white pressing.

This is a damn good album but after a couple spins I don't dig it as much as GoE, and probably don't need the deluxe edition. Picked up the official US pressing this weekend. Here's some nice pics for comparison to boots in case anyone is interested. Cover and vinyl: The only official US pressing has the Q and is on red vinyl. Flower etching indicating mastering by Brian Gardner: if it doesn't have this, it's a bootleg. Parental advisory sticker still intact: A good sign of being legit. All the boots I've seen have it printed on. Back: Another note is that it will have the label code as IPC-41, which is a misprint, it was supposed to be IPC-43. However most bootlegs copied the misprinted IPC-41.
