Had an awesome RSD, was able to grab everything I wanted. Pinback, Stephan Jenkins, Nothing, Mew, Sublime, Deftones, Weepies (didn't realize it had an autographed insert!), and Outkast. Really liked how the store ran things- they had all RSD stuff at a counter where the line comes through and you told them what you want and they grabbed it for you - with a limit of 4 RSD releases each time you come through the line. I was first in line, waited from midnight through the morning but some really cool people with great music taste and personality were lined up around me, honestly had a blast hanging with them all night. It flew by. Outside of RSD stuff, I purchased a sealed copy of Dave Matthews Band - Before These Crowded Streets from a guy I found on Craigslist who used to work for RCA, for a really nice price. Can't stop looking at it. Thank you vinyl gods.

I went and camped out, knowing last year people were here at 11pm the night before. 2am and still the only one here... Ah well, it's nice knowing I should be able to grab everything on my list. This shop is cool and just posts everything they got on their Facebook the night before.

Ordered from Amazon UK. Price + shipping to Minnesota came to about $20. I highly doubt I'll see it for under $30 here once it's released.

Mine just finally left too. I'm wondering if they just printed the shipping labels for this late batch a while back and entered tracking info then, and didn't ship a them til now.

Nothing really standing out to me on the first listen as something I'd want to revisit besides prayers/triangles. But I will anyway because a lot of times the albums that grow on me end up being my most loved albums. Kind of lacks the intensity and edgy/creepy feeling I get (and like) from White Pony, Around The Fur, etc.

Very happy to see that yesterday. I'd have collapsed if I'd have been there and James came out. Really hoping it's possible for them to work together on some new material. On the note of getting things signed by Billy et al, if I saw them again I'd try again. I guess WPC was in a rush to get out after the Mpls show because he was flying out to LA for some wrestling stuff really early the next morning. It sounds like he sometimes does stop and chat/sign things.

One of my biggest concert regrets is not chatting with Rob and Zach after I saw them on the 10th anniversary summer in Abaddon tour and getting stuff signed and whatnot. Who knows if the two of them will do more Pinback work/tour.

Pinback is my #1. Trying to figure out if it's worth lining up early to make sure I get one. 2000 copies and I think around 1400 stores participate? So some places may only get 1-2 copies?
