That was a good read, its good to see him open up and become more real about his addiction as time passes. In the begin like 3 years ago it seemed so uptight and obviously cause it was fresh, but now he just lets it all out naturally. Takes balls to do. 2nd New track is pretty good too.

I think Stephen Carpenter might be a little bummed from the departure they took from Diamond Eyes, because he loves the "djent" metal sounds and I know he jammed is 8 string guitar on that entire album. It had some pretty tough sounding breaks and I bet he enjoyed that energy. Than Koi No Yokan went the opposite direction. Maybe this album follows that style, from what we have heard thus far it does, and he is unhappy. Makes sense but I love how versatile they all are and how they adapt to one another from album to album. But I love it all from Adrenaline to Koi No Yokan, give me alllllllll da Deftones!!! But do agree he could have came at it in a different fashion, esp since the album hasn't released yet..

Really digging this, as with every Deftones song it takes a few listens to absorb, but I like the contrast of tempo and texture. It does end abruptly but I feel its cause they right albums not songs, can't just pluck one out cause it is dependent on its surrounding tracks. That being said ummm lets get some fuckin more!!

Hmmmm, I like this so much more than Hebrews only a quarter through it but, I'm feeling the roots coming back and I'm digging it. I always had a little dirty pleasure with Say Anything, and this is tugging on those strings again. I love the mathy guitar taps I'm hearing. Lets go i guess haha.

This will be solid, a mature step in sound and from all of the clips posted on instagram from saosin the guitars and drums sound solid as hell. With Anthony back I think it will only improved with his more mature lyrics and vocal delivery, dude can still slay a scream to haha.
