I have no knowledge on any of this, but one suggestion I have is look into what you could do to make your store a little more unique. Live music space, coffee shop, or whatever else vinyl collectors are into. Create a destination, not just another store.

If you do Chicago, Milwaukee is only an 1 1/2 hour train ride away and costs just $25. Great city imo (but I'm biased) and some decent record stores. Exclusive Company, Acme Records, Bullseye Records. Plus the music venues are way more interesting/historic than most of Chicago's. Madison is also pretty close but you have to take a bus to get there. Strictly Discs for that place, and depending on when you're here, there can be some pretty cool and sometimes free music events going on. Live on King Street is pretty cool, as is Madison's Favorite Concert presented by Isthmus. Majestic Madison tends to have just about every show posted on their website's concert calendar. Is it confirmed that only people who preordered on Tuesday are getting this? I recall seeing posts about a year ago from Procrastinate asking you to sign up with your home address to maybe receive something, maybe not. Something along those lines.

Sent an email about the Dragonchaser cassette and got a response April 13 about it. Said he would send another one. Haven't received anything. Super bummed too, this album is my favorite thing to come out so far this year.

Yikes, one time pressing? Really hope that doesn't end up the case. This album is absolutely fantastic and I can see this band and album really rising in the shoegaze scene.

They've been working on music for months now. I wouldn't be that surprised if we get an album within 3 months. Pretty excited to see what 2 of my favorite mid-2000s bands can create when playing together.
