ON a more important note, I am getting so fucking jealous of all these people getting there sets....For someone that has truly been a fan since the 90's (like many people on here too!) This set is more than just music, its apart of our youth/young adulthood...
 
It just bugs me that there are people out their that are getting a set "because its popular at the moment" "they hope to make money off it one day" or just collect anything collectable"
 
I don't know, I am just angry ranting because I am jealous  and little heart broken that my favorite artist of all time (Ryan Adams included) has a beautiful set out there and I won't be abel to get one without shoveling out loads of cash I don't have...(yes black copies coming, but I am a sucker for box sets, just love how they look on my record shelves and color vinyl is always nice little touch) 
Heres the 200th time saying, if anyone wants to let go of theres, somehow gets two! PLEASE consider me! I have all but 2 of KOZ releases (CD and Vinyl) and his music got me through my teen years...I will cherish it and NEVER sell it!

My wife and I are hopefully moving into our new house in a month or so, so I'm seriously considering keeping this set sealed until then.

Thanks for the pics!  Hopefuly SSD will come through for me, but I feel like I'll be just as happy with the individual releases on black.

RHP music means so much to me and pretty much saved my life. I won't go into detail but if I get can get one of these Boxsets it would mean so much to me. Hoping for the new on vinyl or soundstage direct to come through for me. Maybe Amazon.

Has anyone here gotten the Better Homes and Gardens 8-Cube Organizer from Walmart? If so, can you tell me if the dimensions of it allow for decent storage without issue?

I managed to get an order in to Bullmoose the other day, but also have had my local guy digging since they started with those teaser pics on Facebook, so hopefully I will manage one between the two of them. I'm more than open to a decent trade for sure if I somehow get two in hand. 

If the vinyl release date trails behind the CD, don't ask Mark when it's coming out--he already embarrassed us on Biko.

I was just joking around and imagining a forum where members spend hundreds of dollars weekly on CDs, argue with each other about the ethics of selling CDs over their original sale price, and obsess over rare variants of CDs. It's probably out there somewhere.

Number on the shrink? Ugh. I might as well throw my copy in the garbage.

And my box is here. So far so good. It does come in that pizza box thing with the regular box inside of that. Flip open box with the LPs inside. The box is numbered but on the shrink on the box. Not sure how useful that is but it is numbered. I got #1230/1500.
 
I opened the first 2 and the sleeves seem good. Not super heavy but not cheap feeling at all. Printed inners. No splits on the seems, packaging was ok. No idea how the originals are to compare. The LPs seem more gold than bronze to me but they look good. Flat and heavy no scuffs. Haven't spun them yet but they look ok. 
 
I'm ready to start playing them! 

Apparently I got shipping confirmation from 4AD yesterday!  It didn't show up in my email on my phone until today, but I just checked my email on my laptop and it turns out it shipped yesterday around 3:30pm.  Now the real wait begins!

If my Red House Painters box gets media mail luck like that, I'll sacrifice a drifter to the USPS gods.

I emailed Matador a few weeks back and they told me they would be shipping out the week before release, so should be next week sometime.
