  1. I'd probably bite on $100, maybe $120. But $200 with only 2 LPs? Nuts. Even the regular version is $40 after shipping. I wish they would have done a deluxe discography box for $200, I would have snatched that up.
  2. $195 for the deluxe box set limited to 2000. Fuck that. $30 for regular 180g vinyl. I'll wait until it shows up in stores.
  3. Canceled my Barnes order. Which is okay, because I listened to this on the way home. Now I'm a HUGE National fan. They're the only band I can think of that gets better with each record, and I thought Trouble was a masterpiece. But this may be the most disappointing record ever to me. There's some songs that don't even sound like the National at all without Matt's voice. Maybe it will grow on me, but I can never see it being up to par with everything else they've done.
  4. Bought this about 15 minutes after it went up and still got black. Lesson learned.
  5. I recall a few people saying "that's fucked up" or whatever, but I'm still floored there wasn't a stronger backlash. Coming from a scene that loves holding people accountable for shit they do/say, most people didn't bat an eye. This reminds me of a meme around the same time that was making the rounds making fun of Wes Eisold for only having one hand. At the point I saw it, it had hundreds of RTs. The person I saw RTing it was a person who lost their shit about Whirr thing. Basically just proving this scene only cares about certain "classes" of people.
  6. https://www.reddit.com/r/Emo/comments/4sc7fv/discussion_the_world_is_a_beautiful_place_i_am_no/ Mostly explained here.
  7. God damn, remember buying this at a show a few days before it was actually released. It came with a giant poster.
  8. Does anyone remember when this band advocated the murder of police? What I found really interesting about that situation was that it happened not too long after the Whirr situation. With Whirr the internet lost their damn minds, their label dropped them, and the band disappeared. But this band got a free fucking pass. Fuck that.
  9. This is marked as preorder now. I must assume they won't be getting anymore.
  10. Looking for the 2014 repress of Spiderland on colored vinyl at a reasonable price. Thanks!
  11. Any Americans pickup the European exclusive? Thinking about grabbing that one but I rarely order from overseas. Just worried I'll get a smashed box 6 months from now. or if anyone wants to sell their blue in beer copy, I'll be your man.
  12. I'm definitely interested in some stuff but I'm going to wait until you post the rest.
  13. Agreed. About 5 years ago, I ordered two records from them. When they arrived, one record had an extremely damaged corner. The box and the other record were fine so I knew they weren't damaged in shipment. I emailed them and they basically said there's nothing they could do. Fuck em.
  14. Yes, that's it. I was thrown off by "grey/red/black marble", because there's no red in there. Thanks!
  15. I'm going through my collection and I have a a copy of the Blood Brothers Burn, Piano Island, Burn on regular grey marble. But I can not seem to find this pressing info anywhere. I googled and and checked Discogs with no luck. I'm pretty sure I bought it 3 or 4 years ago from MerchNow on clearance. Any help is appreciated.
  16. I posted this to r/vinyl but you guys might have some better input. I've been collecting for about 10 years, but just recently bought a newer setup. I have a AT LP120 that i'm running through a Technics SA-80 receiver and speakers. I bought the receiver and speakers at a garage sale for $20, and are in near perfect condition, so I couldn't pass it up. Upon first setup, it sounded really good. The only issue was it seemed as though the right speaker didn't kick in until the volume hit about 4, which was fine. Anytime I would mess with the volume knob, there was some cutting out on the speakers. Today I throw on a record and notice there is no sound coming from the right speaker. At first I assume it's just the wire, so I mess with that and nothing. I decided to switch around the RCA cables in the phono input, and bam....both speaker are working but the right speaker has noticeably more bass than the left. I throw on another record and now the left speaker isn't working. So I switch around the RCA cables again, and now the right speaker isn't working. While messing with the balance knob, I can tell there is a faint sound coming from the speaker. I tried using the AUX input but had the same problem. Obviously the speakers aren't the problem. I feel like I may be just missing something really obvious. Would I be better off just scraping the receiver for a good amplifier? Update: I just turned everything back on and threw a record on, and everything worked fine. Both speakers sounded good. But as soon as i touched the volume knob the right speaker cut out. I switched to the FM radio and both speakers work great. Back to PHONO and the right speaker doesn't work no matter how much I mess with the volume knob. I don't see why the speakers would work in FM but not PHONO. Thank you.
  17. Maybe a longshot, but I'm looking to buy any Satellite Years era Hopesfall merch in XL. More specifically this shirt or hoodie. Also looking for any other early 2000s metalcore merch (Poison The Well, FATA, Norma Jean, ect...) Thanks!
  18. This. I somehow acquired this compact disc when it came out in 2001, and it (and EYEWTKAS) played a huge part in molding my musical tastes. Incredible record.
