I just checked my social media accounts to see what my "about me" sections say. Instagram : "music and weird stuff and stuff." Twitter : "here goes nothing." Facebook : "people often tell me they aren't sure when I'm being serious." I'm pretty sure that's the opposite of how other people write them.

Anybody ever been to a HUGE concert, at like an outdoor amphitheater, and seen the sweet-ass phenomenon of 10,000+ people trying to clap along, when many of them are far enough back for there to be an audible delay of the beat of the song? I think I wouldn't be able to not laugh if I was watching that from the stage. Probably couldn't see it, anyway.

Our organizing director was stoked to get my résumé, but apparently they had a few people in the pipeline to be hired. He said he'd keep it close at hand, though. So this is still just a part-time gig for me. Between both jobs I have never worked this much in my life, and the rewarding and fun parts have been kind of few and far between. To be honest, right now, I feel like more of a political foot soldier than anything. We have outings to amusement parks and baseball games and stuff coming up, so I guess selling people on that stuff is fun, too.

My life is not going in a direction that I am happy with and everything I do to change it seems to make things worse. I lie awake at night in a legitimate panic and I wonder if I am just doomed to remain deeply unhappy. I know how negatively it effects people I care about and that just makes things worse, and I feel like I can't even talk about it. On top of everything, I bought this quesadilla maker on sale at Kroger, and I can only put a thin layer of cheese on it without all of it melting out into a big mess that I have to clean out with a paper towel.

Simple pronunciation doesn't usually bother me. It's kind of rude to mess with people on the stuff, unless they're mispronouncing big words that they shouldn't be using because they want to sound smarter than they are.
