Yeah I realised just after I posted. Brainfreeze. and yeah I don't get it either, and I don't really understand Koz' motivation to make his vinyl releases so limited. I mean, limited stuff is cool and all, but it's also... limited. Fewer people get to hear your music on a really nice medium. Plus you get paid less. I don't get it.

Do you mean me? I was just joking. Like it'd be ironic if after some of us have gotten pumped for the Europe release, the US release gets some fancy colours, like Benji did. Just speculation.

Mine shipped too. I find it pretty surprising tbh because it is/was listed as #1 in folk rock on amazon.co.uk, and with there only being 1000 copies being pressed for the UK, I thought they'd be out of copies by the time I pre-ordered. Cool. Anyway, let's all watch as Koz announces some wicked rad colours for the US release.

Sorry, should have mentioned a figure. I'd maybe wanna spend around £100-120 max on this? The Topping TP21 is like £50, and the Amptastic is £100. I should mention that I got the Essential ii for £125 used, and the Roth speakers are gonna cost me £70. That should give a better idea of budget.

Sup playas, So I'm putting together a small bedroom turntable setup. Don't want it to be the be-and-end-all-hifi-planet-destroyer, but i don't want it to sound like shit. So so far I've got myself an Essential ii, a Rega Mini Fono (not the A2D) and I'm picking up a pair of Roth OLi RA1 speakers tomorrow. Keeping it cheapish. The thing I'm not too sure about is the amp. Most integrated amps are colossal, have way too many buttons, do too much stuff and cost way more money than I would care to spend on one. Then I found this: http://www.amptastic.com/ which has got a lot of sweet reviews. However, it doesn't have a headphone out, which would be nice. Heard about Dayton too: http://www.daytonaudio.com/index.php/dayton-audio-dta-120-class-t-digital-mini-amplifier-60-wpc.html But then I heard that people have had problems with the DTA-100s. Guh. Does an good amp, with a headphone out, a volume knob, ins and outs and not much else, of decent quality, exist? Or are the problems that I'm reading about mountains made of molehills?

It really bothers me when people call hypocrisy on those with left-leaning views. It seems to me that these people believe that to have left-leaning or socialist views, you have to live in a forest foraging for food. And also, I don't really see the problem with collaborating with Shellback, as I belief he is a massive fan of the band, and a great producer (his work on the latest Taylor Swift is fantastic). As I said before though, that djent-ish stutter guitar edit near the end Elektra is kinda lame. Not sure Refused suit that hyper-polished production.
