  1. Absolutely. I guess that the gold faintly resembles the orange on the cover, but not my much. Totally on board with the coke bottle blue.
  2. First 00 / 28. Vinyl or any other format. I suppose I'm missing out.
  3. Yeah, I'm glad that they tuned down the radio-rock anthem choruses. They're still there, sparingly, but the album feels much less generic than Appeal To Reason.
  4. Also appreciate the link / leak; just holding out for something a little higher on the quality scale. +1 for sharing, though.
  5. I don't know how well the etching will appear on clear vinyl, but I couldn't really care less. The dark and light labels would look phenomenal with clear wax, and totally fit the album art and packaging. From what I've seen, at least. Like you, I'm also the most stoked for the clear press... though I feel like all three variants were great choices, given the art scheme.
  6. Absolutely wonderful. Any new topics or bumps would be super appreciated, when the time comes. Thank you much.
  7. Apologies for possibly misreading, but did you just confirm that Hot Topic will be receiving a clear variant?
  8. Quite high. A few posts back, someone stated that each color is out of 1,000. Assuming that's credible, I think it's safe to say you're good.
  9. Irrelevant. It pertains to Glassjaw; it's a pain in the ass. Fact of life. Being serious, it would be no real surprise if this thing turned out pretty meh. Warner knows it has been requested in full. Cranking out a few thousand pressings in the most cost effective manner (single LP, likely no fancy packaging or insert) is something that they know they can get away with... because fans will obviously eat it up.
  10. Genius. But knowing Glassjaw, they'd probably release the first LP in scarce quantities through Merchdirect. And only give out the second record at select shows.
  11. Lazy's a tough one to haggle with. You'll need to catch her on a good day.
  12. Bump for justice. Received my record yesterday. I appreciate the thought that went into the packaging -- both the vinyl and jacket arrived flawlessly. Thank you kindly, good sir.
  13. They did say it was one of the more elaborate and well-done packages, ever...
  14. It does. But you'll have to inspect the package's house to find it. Probably somewhere obvious, like under an off-colored floorboard.
  15. It's an EP. The first of two parts - not sure when the second will be released.
  16. If it does in fact get confirmed, would someone mind bumping the topic with details and a link? Thanks in advance.
  17. That's awfully generous of you. It would be safe to assume that all the hardcore variant collectors will indeed be whoring as many copies as they can. [And lurking eBay at a later time.] I have no idea how RSD works, but I'm hoping that a quantity-cap of some sort is put into place.
  18. Would be immensely grateful. I have no idea how quickly they may go, but yeah. I would only assume you're looking at four variants with a press of 250 each. Would honestly be happy with any color.
  19. This is news to me. Does anyone know if a larger press will be done outside of Record Store Day? Would it be safe to assume? RSD is far from an option, for my location. Even if it gets mass-produced at a later time, I still think it'd be cool to own a colored copy. If anyone is attending RSD and wouldn't mind going out of their way to grab a copy of this, I'd be willing to reimburse you double its cost. Just throwing it out there, if anyone can help a guy out. Really digging the direction the band has been going with Colors and The Great Misdirect. The prog has always been welcomed, and the whole conceptual-story bit has me pretty intrigued. Quite interested to see where they'll take this project.
  20. What a relief. I was beginning to grow tired of searching only two threads for the same info and answers.
  21. It's probably not. Just something that the fingers kind of typed on their own accord. "Without emotion" could be perceived as bland or void of character... which is how I feel about most white vinyl. Like crazydiamond said: a lot of them just feel like random slabs of white plastic, to me. I guess I enjoy the sight of something a little more "traditional" looking - grooves and all - sitting on my record player. It's not a huge gripe of mine; just a simple observation.
