I guess I'very just gotten lucky at my FYE, I've gotten boxsets there really cheap, one of them being the out of print Type O Negative Dead Again boxset, which I got for 20 dollars, and I've gotten some decently rare used stuff for cheap as well, so I guess you can say I'm a fan of FYE, and if you guys wanna hate them, that's fine, but I seriously don't see the problem.

As a hip-hop fan, I'm happy with some of the stuff they've released, like the Mac Miller and Joey Badass, both were also reasonably priced, but honestly I don't think FYE is any worse than Newbury Comics. I buy from both of them when they put out a good exclusive, but both have overpriced stuff, ex. the new pressing of Nirvana's Bleach, 40 dollars, just like the 311 album, at least with FYE you can be a member with them and get a discount.Edit: apparently their membership costs money, a yearly payment of 25 dollars, or a monthly payment of 11.99 but you get more discounts. I guess the 25 isn't too bad, the 12 dollar one is dumb though.
