  1. I got Hitler Bad for $6 on GEMM on a few months back. But I did pay a bit more for my Live Fast! Seems like when I was looking for it they were all going for $20-$25. I have seen a few for a bit less recently. The Quickening is easy to find for $10 ish (Interpunk actually still has some). I think I tried to order this the same time you did because it was out of stock after I ordered it. Damn you!
  2. http://www.discogs.com/sell/list?release_id=2182042&ev=rb +1 I've only seen "HBVG" on ebay once. I didn't even know it was pressed on vinyl. I need it.
  3. The Vandals' "Hitler Bad, Vandals Good" Andrew Jackson Jihad/Partners in 818 split
  4. On a side note: When is the Munly album coming in!!???
  5. From Shopradiocast's preorder page: "Beyond the lure of 3 brand new SWINGIN’ UTTERS tracks, Taking the Long Way also boasts quite an intriguing feature: the first lead vocal performance from Jack Dalrymple (One Man Army, Dead To Me). Fans have been dying to hear Jack’s hallmark honey-coated vocals since he joined the band and the wait is finally over." Neat. Now if Fat could post the preorder along with the others...
  6. He might do a mailorder if you ask him. He seems like a real down to earth guy. He has a few other ones on http://www.mu330.com/danpotthast/frameset.htm
  7. I picked first class postage for around 3 bucks. Priority though is outrageous. Dan Potthast has a lot of solo material that he released on his own. One CD in particular follows his solo shows around the world with the tracklisting reflecting a city that he played in. That was an interesting concept. And I too am disappointed that Kalnoky didn't chose any Mu330 songs. Potthast's choices are great though. And I thought I put this in the "Vinyl Collective Board" and not the "Everything Else Board." That's very strange... I thought record/cd release threads went there and this area was for random stuff.
  8. I wonder if this will ever make it to vinyl... From The Risc Store: "Two friends come together to reinterpret each others tunes for the first volume of the Pentimento Music Company's "You By Me" series. Toh Kay (Tomas Kalnoky of Streetlight Manifesto) and Dan P. (Dan Potthast of MU330 and The Stitch Up) have traveled the world together numerous times, playing shows from Tokyo to New York City to London, hearing one another's music countless times. Somewhere along the line, the idea for the "You By Me" series was born: two songwriters per record (preferably ones that respect and enjoy each other's work), 10 songs (5 each), no rules regarding rearranging and changing the songs, whether it be genre, chord progressions or even a lyric or two. A few months later, Volume 1 is wrapped and ready to go... Track List: 1. I've Set Sail 2. Downtown 3. I Went In 4. Tornado Joe 5. Got Through Another One 6. A Moment Of Silence 7. Somewhere In The Between 8. Watch It Crash 9. We Will Fall Together 10. The Big Sleep" More information from the newsletter: "Tomas (Streetlight's singer, under the name Toh Kay) and Dan Potthast will be releasing a split LP on November 16th via The Pentimento Music Company, in which they reinterpret 5 of each other's songs (each) with acoustic instruments. The CD will be available via the RISC Store here (You can pre-order now, and this time we have the ability to not melt down under a ton of orders, seriously) or digitally, via iTunes and the like. For a sample of what the record will sound like, why don't you head on over to Youtube and check out the music video for "I've Set Sail", right here. And the preorder is 15% off because of the sale. I'm looking forward to what the series will be like.
  9. The Vandals/Dropkick Murphy's issue and the Bosstones album are back ordered. It says they should be in stock within 3-6 days. I'm not holding my breath. I assumed "Pinpoints and Gin Joints" was out of print.
  10. Ordered! And Interpunk has the new Mighty Mighty Bosstones album back on double vinyl.
  11. Well, shit. I thought I could delete the thread but just deleted my original post. "The Chronicles of Sheriff Joe Arpaio 4-way split from Andrew Jackson Jihad, Porches, Father's Day and Treasure Mammal IS SOLD. But I'll keep the post up if anyone is interested in reading about the compilation's purpose or the release. (Click HERE to read about it.) From the little that I know, the record has 2 versions: One white cover with a yellow insert and one yellow cover with a white insert. The vinyl is pink. I'm not sure how many were pressed. Track listing: Father's Day: "America's Toughest Sheriff" Porches: "Fascist Burritos" Treasure Mammal: "Arpayaso" Andrew Jackson Jihad: "Joe Arpaio Is A Punk" I still have the Nirvana 7" for sale: Make an offer.
  12. That sold out in the first 2 or 3 shows of the tour last month.
  13. Holy shit, Pan's Labyrinth and The Dark Knight have double LP versions!??
  14. I'm allergic to eggs and was told as a kid that I couldn't eat "confectioner's glaze" or "resinous glaze." I found out about 3 weeks ago that it's not a derivative of egg but the excrement from a beetle. So I tried candy corn for the first time ever. AND I AM ADDICTED. SERIOUSLY LOVE CANDY CORN. But otherwise, Baby Ruth bars were always my favourite because you'd only get 1 or 2 and well... they're freaking delicious.
  15. and how! wish he would put out a new full length already, though. a comp song here and a 7inch there isn't enough! I wish the Guignol split had less instrumental songs. I can only listen to virtuoso clarinet so much before becoming a little distracted.
  16. Anything involving Mischief Brew excites me. I will be investing in one of these.
  17. I managed to see a screening of "My Name is Bruce" when Bruce Campbell toured it. Coincidentally enough, Jeffrey Donovan from "Burn Notice" showed up during the Q&A because he was doing a stage play in Chicago. Epic evening if I say so myself. I thought "The Six String Samurai" was pretty interesting. The Red Elvises? Come on! But as for bad movies: The Suckling A Boy and His Dog (Trailer) Brain Damage ( )The Wicker Man ( )Far Cry The Movie ( )
  18. I bought a generic stylus from amazon.com for 5 bucks and it works just fine (although my record player still scratches my records. Garbage time!)
  19. Does anyone have live Swingin' Utters sets (aside from the "Live in a Dive" episode and the "Live at the Bottom of the Hill)?
  20. So I guess that no one is interested... I find that rather surprising. (sticks nose up in the air and finishes homemade beer)
  21. Does anyone plan on attending Brews Not Bombs in Chicago on September 19th? (http://www.brewnotbombschicago.org/) The lineup seems pretty good. I've always wanted to see This Bike is a Pipe Bomb. FEATURES: Screaming Females The Arrivals 97-Shiki This Bike Is A Pipe Bomb Defiance, Ohio Shellshag The Slow Death Imperial Can Soul Summit DJ Dave Mata & Patriotic Shorts by: EVERYTHING IS TERRIBLE! Plus, The People's Choice Homebrew Contest The Giant Vegan Bake-off & Lots of Delicious Microbrew A benefit for: Civilian-Soldier Alliance, Little Village Environmental Justice Organization, & Voices For Creative Nonviolence ------ Craft beer and home brews are often delicious, and punk music is pleasant to consume as well. It sounds like a good time.
  22. I just recently got some Harley Poe....same singer right? I'll check it out. I like the Harley Poe stuff. I stalk the hell out of Harley Poe. They are my heroes. Calibretto is a similar style but a much different message/focus.
  23. Did anybody listen to the band Calibretto (13)? They were one of my favourites. A rarities collection can be found HERE.
